A multiple-choice Review Activity is one in which the students respond by making a selection among several proposed solutions, each of which is scored as correct or incorrect. The process consists of a short text describing the Vocabulary Words and a definite number of alternative answer options. Among the response options, only one is correct and the rest are incorrect, acting as distractors. A multiple-choice activity is one of the most popular methods used for the assessment of learning. There are many advantages to using a multiple-choice activity in a classroom, for example: They are easy to understand, requires less time to answer than those that contain open questions, where a greater amount of information is required to be processed, the student is evaluated simply based on their choices, and after students are given the instructions on how to use the boxes to answer, you can be confident in the clarity of their answers. Beginning Math. Addition to 12 with Dice. 6 bonus cards with "how many more make 10?" Designed so the answer prints on the back of each card for easy, self-checking independence! Black and white line art, ink saving. Fun hands-on activity . Students look at the card, determine the answer, clip their answer with a clothes pin or other clip you provide, flip the card to check their answer, remove the clip and repeat with another card. The clip and flip activity also works fine motor skills and is great for the pincer grasp. Large cards, answer choices at bottom for ease for left- and right-handed students. Straight line cutting makes it easier for you to prep. Clip It and Flip It Cards are a great addition to your task boxes for math centers. They can also be used in individualized work baskets, for early finishers, morning work, or homework. I typically place them in a slim, 5 x 7 photo case with a couple of clothespins and use for center activities (2 students per center). A co-worker has them in pencil bags as morning work for the students while she is taking attendance, lunch count, and other morning duties. Another teacher just printed the front pages, laminated, and presented them at small group with clear counters, using this as a quick assessment. There are many ways to use these Addition Task Cards. Designed for my Kindergarten Classroom, aligning with Common Core Standards K.OA.A.1 and K.OA.A.5, I have also used them in Pre-K and with my older special needs students. 36 clip cards are included in this 29 page PDF. Print selected pages on double-sided, short edge binding, printing so that answers are on back of each card. If you do not have that option, print odd pages first, then place them in your printer tp print the even pages on the back.
