Winter Snowflake Backgrounds – 16 Digital Papers for Worksheets, classroom decorations, Posters, and Presentations (A4 Format) PNG + PDF + TIFF Sometimes, a simple seasonal touch can change the feel of a whole lesson. When winter rolls around, I like to bring a bit of that atmosphere into my classroom—not just through content, but visually too. That’s why I created these snowflake-themed backgrounds. They’re quiet and subtle, but they add a touch of seasonal charm that helps students feel the shift in mood without being overwhelmed by decorations. In this set, you’ll find 16 digital backgrounds , each designed with different snowflake patterns—some small and scattered, some bold and oversized, and others arranged like a snowflake wall. I drew all of them in Procreate with classroom materials in mind. Whether you're designing a writing prompt for December, creating certificates or worksheets for winter-themed activities, or just want a more inviting look for your slides, these backgrounds work beautifully. What’s included: – 16 backgrounds in A4 format – Each design provided in: – PNG (great for layering) – PDF (ready for easy print) – TIFF (zipped high-res for professional use) Motifs include: – Small snowflakes – Medium-sized snowflakes – Oversized snowflakes – Snowflake wall patterns I’ve personally used them as backdrops for classroom displays, student writing pages, and even as digital paper in apps like GoodNotes or Notability. They also work well for bulletin boards, craft templates, or calming mindfulness journal pages during busy school days. Usage Notes: ✔ You’re welcome to use them for your own classroom projects and resources. ✔ Commercial use is allowed for educational products—as long as your own content is clearly visible ✘ What’s not allowed: sharing, giving away, or reselling the unaltered backgrounds. Common Core, Creative Arts, Holiday & Seasonal, Seasons, Fall, Spring, Summer, Winter, Resources for Teachers, Montessori, Homeschool Templates, Homeschool Curriculum, Activities, Classroom Decor, Bulletin Boards, Posters, Teacher Tools, Word Walls, Banners, Door Decor, Presentations, Crafts
Watercolor Backgrounds – 10 Designs for Teaching Materials and Creative Projects (A4 Format) PNG + PDF Over the years, I’ve realized how much a soft and thoughtfully chosen background can influence the overall tone of a worksheet, project, or presentation. Especially when working with younger learners—or just trying to break away from the usual black-and-white documents—a watercolor-style background can make materials feel calmer, more inviting, and a little more special. This set includes 10 hand-designed watercolor backgrounds , all created by me in Procreate. They’re simple, versatile, and gentle in color, making them easy to combine with your own content—whether you're designing a worksheet, setting up a presentation, or putting together printable materials like task cards or signs. Each background comes in two formats : – PNG (with transparent or clean edges – ideal for digital work) – PDF (quick and ready to print) What you can use them for: – Designing worksheets or templates for student work – Presentation slides (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva...) – Game cards or instruction sets – Greeting cards or classroom posters – Backdrops for reflection or writing pages – And much more I’ve personally used them for everything from laminated instructions at learning centers to cover pages for student portfolios. The soft watercolor look adds warmth without being distracting—and pairs well with both playful and more serious content. Usage notes: These backgrounds are available for private and classroom use , and you may also use them commercially within the educational field (e.g. in your own teaching materials), as long as your own content is clearly visible and credit is given (by naming me as the creator or linking to my store). Please don’t resell or distribute the files as standalone images. Have fun using these designs to give your materials a personal and creative touch. – Heike from @Lernfitness Did You Know? Light and Dark PowerPoint
Holiday & Seasonal, Seasons, Fall, Spring, Summer, Winter, Science, Basic Science, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, Teacher Tools, Presentations
This PowerPoint about Light and Dark can help children to begin to understand the relationship between all living things and the sun; our need for light and the sun. What does the Light and Dark PowerPoint teach? Simply explained, children will learn: Darkness is the absence of light The sun is the main source of light on Planet Earth It reminds pupils never to look directly at the sun The sun provides warmth too - or Earth would be very cold Why plants need the sun: to make food to help them reproduce Creatures that come out in the daytime (the need for survival) Shadows - how they are formed Plants and animals that prefer the shade and why (the need for survival) Creatures of the night, and why? Nocturnal (the need for survival) This PowerPoint is silent but comes with full narration notes, both under each slide for use in Presenter View, or as a PDF. Do: Relate the slides to your pupil's experience. The slower pace of a Powerpoint means that the teacher is control and can add or subtract material as is felt necessary. What is included? 135 slide PowerPoint PDF Narration notes More: Why not team the Light and Dark PowerPoint with our Seasons PowerPoint as they go together very well? https://teachsimple.com/product/the-seasons-powerpoint-ks1
