This curriculum is not just another packet of math problems; it is a model for thoughtful analysis. Through engaging and relevant examples (from e-sports to medical research) and very rigorous examples, students will go beyond "what" to "why" by learning to ask the right questions about data, being aware of bias, breaking down faulty or misleading visuals and understanding the key differences between “correlation” and “causation.” Overall, this unit will help to develop and solidify the most abstract ideas into something tangible and recognizable.
