Alphabet Letter Wheels | Letter of the Week Activity Book

These letter wheels are so much fun to make and use while learning and practicing letter sounds and formation! After assembly, have students turn the wheel to reveal more words that begin with the focus letter. They would love to build a collection of letter wheels!

How to Use This:

Print out the template pages that coordinates with the letter you and your class are learning about. Hand a set to each student. Have them color the wheels and then cut them out carefully. Stack the two layers together, with the letter piece on top. Push a brad through the center. Now help your student learn how to turn the wheel to reveal letter words. Take some time to brainstorm with your students other letter words that could have been added to the letter wheel.

This hands on activity is great for paired work, independent work, a center, early finishers, or as homework. If you are using a letter of the week type of approach, these printables will fit right in! You can use them while teaching children at home, small homeschool or co-op groups, or a large preschool or kindergarten class. These letter wheels will be a favorite your students will remember!
