Alphabet Letter Writing | Letter of the Week Activity Book
About This Product
These simple alphabet worksheets allow students to practice writing entire words that use the letter they are learning. This is a great bridge activity as students begin to use their letter sound and formation skills and apply them to writing and reading real words. Your students will feel so proud of themselves that they wrote a whole page of words! It's also an opportunity to practice handwriting skills!
How to Use This:
Hand a worksheet out to each student that coordinates with the focus letter. Take a minute to read down the list of words and sound each one out slowly with the students. Encourage them to trace each word. Then, while looking at the original word as a reference, try rewriting the word several times.
This worksheet works as independent work, a center, early finishers, or as homework. If you are using a letter of the week type of approach, these printables will fit right in! You can use them while teaching children at home, small homeschool or co-op groups, or a large preschool or kindergarten class. These letter word handwriting worksheets are a great way to begin writing complete words!
