French: La Gastronomie par Région- Reading activity

A fun interactive activity in which your intermediate to advanced students will discover the French gastronomy: La gastronomie française.

The resource:

• Your student will need to have access to the Internet to complete this activity.

• the worksheet includes a link and QR code that students can use to access the interactive map of France.

• Your students will be able to learn about the culinary specialty, by clicking on each of the 13 mainland French regions.

• The pop-up interactive window gives information on 2 dishes and a type of cheese for that region.

• Everything is written in French.

• There are a total of 4 activities on the worksheet (3 pages). As students move to the next activity, the level of difficulty increases.

Activities:

1: Complète la carte de la France métropolitaine avec le nom des 13 régions

2: Relie les spécialités à chaque région. Puis, écris le nom d'un fromage typique.

3: Réponds aux questions en français

Extra activity: Utilise l'Internet pour Faire des recherches sur d'autres spécialités gastronomiques et résume les informations que tu as trouvées.
