Recommended lesson plan:
Start by having the students make a list of as many tools as they can in their native language. Then watch the video lesson as a group and have the students write the translations of any words that were on their native language list. Combine the lists made by all of the students collectively on the board, so that the whole class can have the entire list. Split the list into categories: hammers and nails, screws and screwdrivers, drills and drill bits, wrenches, pliers, & saws. Assign a group of students to each of the groups. Have the students describe a project that they could complete using those tools. This can be used to practice command form or the passive voice, depending on the level of the students doing the activity.
