This product covers the 2023 Virginia (VA) Standards of Learning (SOL) 3.NS.1 The student will use place value understanding to read, write, and determine the place and value of each digit in a whole number, up to six digits, with and without models.
It contains notes pages on place value and the various ways to represent a number: model form, word form, standard form, and expanded form.
There are practice pages for each topic, with an answer key included.
The notes pages come in two sizes. The first size is a full-page size. You can print them as-is, or you can print them two to a page. This is what I do as it saves on paper and the sheets will easily fit in a notebook of any size. The second size is formatted to fit on a standard composition notebook page but will also easily fit a spiral notebook.
