Metric Conversions Puzzle for Student Practice

A fun activity for students to practice metric conversions. The puzzle is a 4 by 4 grid of squares. Each side of the square has a number in metric form. Students will match sides with equivalent numbers that use a different unit of metric measure. The skill students will use to solve the puzzle correspond to Common Core Standards: Each square has a letter in the middle and the teacher answer key shows the letters only. This makes for a quick check of student's accuracy. Have students to cut out the puzzle. Assign them each a unique number to place on the back of every puzzle piece.
