This is a great play to help introduce Adam Smith or characteristics of the Free Market system. The play focuses on the life of Adam Smith. It ends by focusing on his ideas for a Free Enterprise system and how it was different from the Mercantilist system of his day. This takes about 20 minutes to do. Plus, you will want to give some time to debrief. In my classes, I have my students take some time to write a journal reflection on what they learned while performing the play. Have fun!
