This activity can be used as a whole class, in groups, pairs or individually. What is included: 6 wheels: There are 3 levels of difficulty (level of difficulty increases with the number of keywords included in the wheel: 8, 12 or 24). For each level of difficulty, there are 2 versions (French to picture or French to English). This variety gives you the possibility to choose the most appropriate wheel according to your students' ability. solutions/ answers: a table version of the wheels are included. a vocabulary list: for students' reference. a list of possible activities that can be done using the wheels. Instruction: Each wheel label includes a French word/expression, as well as an English word/ expression (or a picture) which do not match. Students will need to find and align the French to its equivalent (from another label) in order to complete the vocabulary wheel. The vocabulary within this game will be Clothes Vocabulary, so students will see and practice many words that they are familiar with. If your students have never played this game before, the idea is simple and includes every learner: --The cards are shuffled and distributed. -- A player starts and asks for a term. -- If they have the right card, they call: "I have …" and ask for the next term. -- The game continues until the last card has been found. This game is played best with a whole classroom of students. You will be surprised how quiet the room will suddenly get and how your learners will listen carefully. There are a total of 36 cards. Cards are printed 9 per page. You can print and laminate the cards for durability. To store the cards, you may choose to put them in a small baggie or hole punch them so they can attach to a binder ring.
