Father's Day Activity
Holiday & Seasonal, Holidays, Father's Day, Not Grade Specific, Activities
This product is a fun Father's Day activity for students to complete. Don't forget about Dad! Many schools get out before Father's Day , so students may not have anything to give their dad. Even if school gets out before Father's Day , students can create something special for their dads and save it until the day arrives. The worksheets provided allow students to color some pictures, and fill in three sentences about their dad. The first sentence is students giving a reason why they love their dad. Second, they finish the sentence explaining why their dad is special. Finally, students explain what their dad does to make them feel special. The other page is a tie that says My Dad is... Students can fill in the tie with words and pictures that describe their dad. If students are having a hard time coming up with ideas, you could first brainstorm as a class. Have students share some ideas. If your students are older, and it's easier for them to fill out, you could sit one on one with any students who might struggle with what to say. You could have students create a cover page so they're giving their dad a little book. Dad's will definitely appreciate anything their child makes for them.
