Blank Writing & Activity Sheets – Spring Theme Flexible, decorative pages for writing, drawing, music, or custom classroom materials 🌸✏️ PNG + PDF These printable pages are designed to bring a little seasonal color and calm into your classroom. With soft spring-themed decorations and no pre-set lines, you can use them in almost any subject or context. Whether your students are writing stories, solving math problems, or composing short pieces of music, these sheets give them a gentle, creative frame to work within. What I appreciate about using open-format pages like these is the flexibility. Sometimes, we just need something that’s visually appealing but still leaves space for our own content – and that’s exactly what this resource offers. What’s included: A selection of blank decorative worksheets in a spring design No lines, so you can add your own structure (or none at all) Soft seasonal visuals – not too distracting, but motivating PDF format – for printing or digital notebooks (GoodNotes, Notability, etc.) PNG Format Ideas for classroom use: I’ve used these sheets in many ways over the years – as writing paper for creative assignments, as a quiet-time drawing prompt, or even for student-made math problems. Some students enjoy using them for reflection journals or personal check-in pages. They're also great for differentiated use: students can write a paragraph, draw a process, list keywords, or create a mind map – all on the same page layout. If you’re working in a digital environment, the files can easily be inserted into apps like GoodNotes and filled in with a stylus. Sometimes it’s the small details – like giving students a beautiful sheet of paper – that makes an activity feel more special and worth their time. Best, Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know? Common Core, Creative Arts, Holiday & Seasonal, Seasons, Fall, Spring, Summer, Winter, Resources for Teachers, Montessori, Homeschool Templates, Homeschool Curriculum, Activities, Classroom Decor, Bulletin Boards, Posters, Teacher Tools, Word Walls, Banners, Door Decor, Presentations, Crafts
Watercolor Backgrounds – 10 Designs for Teaching Materials and Creative Projects (A4 Format) PNG + PDF Over the years, I’ve realized how much a soft and thoughtfully chosen background can influence the overall tone of a worksheet, project, or presentation. Especially when working with younger learners—or just trying to break away from the usual black-and-white documents—a watercolor-style background can make materials feel calmer, more inviting, and a little more special. This set includes 10 hand-designed watercolor backgrounds , all created by me in Procreate. They’re simple, versatile, and gentle in color, making them easy to combine with your own content—whether you're designing a worksheet, setting up a presentation, or putting together printable materials like task cards or signs. Each background comes in two formats : – PNG (with transparent or clean edges – ideal for digital work) – PDF (quick and ready to print) What you can use them for: – Designing worksheets or templates for student work – Presentation slides (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva...) – Game cards or instruction sets – Greeting cards or classroom posters – Backdrops for reflection or writing pages – And much more I’ve personally used them for everything from laminated instructions at learning centers to cover pages for student portfolios. The soft watercolor look adds warmth without being distracting—and pairs well with both playful and more serious content. Usage notes: These backgrounds are available for private and classroom use , and you may also use them commercially within the educational field (e.g. in your own teaching materials), as long as your own content is clearly visible and credit is given (by naming me as the creator or linking to my store). Please don’t resell or distribute the files as standalone images. Have fun using these designs to give your materials a personal and creative touch. – Heike from @Lernfitness Did You Know? Get ready to gobble up some creativity with the Thanksgiving Traditions Writing Prompt! This fun and festive activity gets kids thinking about what makes their Thanksgiving celebrations uniquely theirs, whether it’s a feast fit for royalty or a day spent dodging burnt stuffing disasters. Writing and drawing take center stage in this perfect blend of reflection and hilarity. First, students will dive into their family’s traditions. Do they watch football with a side of pie? Go on a turkey trot that’s more “stroll” than “run”? Or perhaps their family’s tradition involves grandma’s famous sweet potato casserole (with a marshmallow topping so high it needs its own zip code). Kids will craft their best descriptive writing, sharing the quirks, laughs, and delicious details of their Thanksgiving Day. Next comes the artistic twist! Students will illustrate their favorite tradition. Whether it’s a turkey-shaped centerpiece, a chaotic kitchen scene, or Uncle Bob snoozing in front of the TV with pumpkin pie crumbs, these drawings bring their stories to life. This activity isn’t just about celebrating Thanksgiving traditions, it’s about discovering what makes the holiday truly special: food, family, and enough laughs to stuff your heart as full as your plate! Enjoy!
