Watercolor Backgrounds – 10 Designs for Teaching Materials and Creative Projects (A4 Format) PNG + PDF Over the years, I’ve realized how much a soft and thoughtfully chosen background can influence the overall tone of a worksheet, project, or presentation. Especially when working with younger learners—or just trying to break away from the usual black-and-white documents—a watercolor-style background can make materials feel calmer, more inviting, and a little more special. This set includes 10 hand-designed watercolor backgrounds , all created by me in Procreate. They’re simple, versatile, and gentle in color, making them easy to combine with your own content—whether you're designing a worksheet, setting up a presentation, or putting together printable materials like task cards or signs. Each background comes in two formats : – PNG (with transparent or clean edges – ideal for digital work) – PDF (quick and ready to print) What you can use them for: – Designing worksheets or templates for student work – Presentation slides (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva...) – Game cards or instruction sets – Greeting cards or classroom posters – Backdrops for reflection or writing pages – And much more I’ve personally used them for everything from laminated instructions at learning centers to cover pages for student portfolios. The soft watercolor look adds warmth without being distracting—and pairs well with both playful and more serious content. Usage notes: These backgrounds are available for private and classroom use , and you may also use them commercially within the educational field (e.g. in your own teaching materials), as long as your own content is clearly visible and credit is given (by naming me as the creator or linking to my store). Please don’t resell or distribute the files as standalone images. Have fun using these designs to give your materials a personal and creative touch. – Heike from @Lernfitness Did You Know? Music Writing Sheets with Decorative Layout Create space for creativity in music class – with printable sheets for composing, notating, or practicing music theory 🎵✍️ PNG + PDF These music-themed worksheets offer a quiet and motivating way for students to engage with musical notation. Each sheet includes clearly spaced music lineatures (staff lines) and gentle decorative elements to make the learning experience both structured and enjoyable. The color tones of the staff lines are matched to the overall design, giving the pages a calm, coherent look – without overwhelming students who are still learning to read or write music. Whether you’re asking students to notate simple melodies, copy rhythms, or compose short pieces, these pages provide a flexible format that supports focus and neatness. They’re also great for music journals, theory exercises, or creative music tasks. What’s included: A selection of PDF music writing pages with pre-printed lineatures Decorative design elements in subtle tones Coordinated ruling colors for better visual harmony Format: Printable or usable in digital notebooks (e.g., GoodNotes, Notability) PNG Format Ideas for classroom use: In my own music classes, I use these sheets for short composition tasks or to write down musical ideas after listening to a piece. They also work well in project folders or as part of student portfolios. Some of my students like to use them during free work time – writing down simple melodies they've invented or even illustrating their musical ideas. For students who are easily overwhelmed by plain staff paper, the friendly design can reduce the fear of the blank page. The format works well in both primary and lower secondary settings – and it's a great way to combine structure with freedom in creative tasks. These pages don’t replace formal music workbooks – but they’re a welcome addition when you want students to engage with music more openly and personally. Best, Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know? Hi! I’m Debbie from Homeschooling Dietitian Mom—a homeschooling mom for 10+ years, a Registered Dietitian, and most importantly, a lover of Jesus. I'm hoping that these adorable images, cards, coloring pages, and stickers will help you celebrate the Easter season with your students, whether homeschooled or in a classroom setting. Inside you’ll find adorable Easter & spring sticker sheets (perfect for planners, notebooks, reward charts, or craft time) plus faith-filled coloring pages featuring Bible verses to help kids reflect on the real meaning of Easter. I chose the items in this set to create a mix of “Happy Easter” and spring-themed stickers (like carrots and a caterpillar/butterfly) along with Christian Easter stickers and phrases such as He Is Risen , Hosanna , and more. I've also included coloring pages with crosses, flowers, and Bible verses: John 3:16 and 1 Peter 1:3. These activities will be perfect for quiet time, morning baskets, Sunday school, or family devotion activities. Quick peek at what’s inside: Sticker sheets (pages 2–4): “Happy Easter” carrots, a caterpillar & butterfly, and several cross/faith-themed stickers (e.g., “Hosanna in the Highest,” “He is Risen,” "tetelestai/it is finished,” “the tomb was empty,” “hallelujah what a savior,” “Jesus lives,” etc.). Coloring-style cross pages with verses (pages 5–6): John 3:16 and 1 Peter 1:3. Large single stickers (pages 7–8): “hosanna in the highest” and “hallelujah what a savior.” See example images of what's inside. pdf downloadable file, 8 pages including cover page. Can be printed on regular paper, cardstock, or sticker paper. Though this activity pack does not specifically target common core standards, it does support fine-motor skills, early literacy (word recognition), and writing extensions. Blank Writing & Activity Sheets – Spring Theme Flexible, decorative pages for writing, drawing, music, or custom classroom materials 🌸✏️ PNG + PDF These printable pages are designed to bring a little seasonal color and calm into your classroom. With soft spring-themed decorations and no pre-set lines, you can use them in almost any subject or context. Whether your students are writing stories, solving math problems, or composing short pieces of music, these sheets give them a gentle, creative frame to work within. What I appreciate about using open-format pages like these is the flexibility. Sometimes, we just need something that’s visually appealing but still leaves space for our own content – and that’s exactly what this resource offers. What’s included: A selection of blank decorative worksheets in a spring design No lines, so you can add your own structure (or none at all) Soft seasonal visuals – not too distracting, but motivating PDF format – for printing or digital notebooks (GoodNotes, Notability, etc.) PNG Format Ideas for classroom use: I’ve used these sheets in many ways over the years – as writing paper for creative assignments, as a quiet-time drawing prompt, or even for student-made math problems. Some students enjoy using them for reflection journals or personal check-in pages. They're also great for differentiated use: students can write a paragraph, draw a process, list keywords, or create a mind map – all on the same page layout. If you’re working in a digital environment, the files can easily be inserted into apps like GoodNotes and filled in with a stylus. Sometimes it’s the small details – like giving students a beautiful sheet of paper – that makes an activity feel more special and worth their time. Best, Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know?
