This Olympic Themed Class Numbers, Word Wall Letters, and Sharp/Dull Labels resource is great to add a little Olympic flair to your classroom! Included in this resource are: Two versions of class numbers, going from 1-60, with 6 numbers per page. If you need them smaller, you can print two pages per sheet. There is a thin print font and a thick print font. Three sizes of word wall letters (6 letters per page, 3 letters per page, and 2 letters per page) and three font variations - one thin printed, one thick printed, and one cursive so you can use them as a word wall or alphabet display. "Sharp" and "Dull" pencil container labels in three different font options so you can match your word wall decor. I use these to help with pencil management so students can get their pencils sharpened and get sharpened ones without disrupting class. All of these items are available for individual download (see the links below). This is a ready-to-print and use resource to use as reference for morning routines, or simply to decorate. What Motivates You? SEL Lesson Plan with Student Survey and Answer Handouts

In this motivation lesson plan, students will learn about extrinsic versus intrinsic motivation. There is a PPT slide presentation with animation on most slides to full engagement (could be converted to a Google Slide presentation) to learn about both types of motivation-extrinsic and intrinsic. There are 2 video clips (The Office video clip is cropped so there is no inappropriate language and there is a Secret Life of Pets trailer-both via Videolink.) There is a student survey as well as an answer score sheet. In this survey students will answer 10 questions in a range of 1-4, where 1 represents "not at all me" and 4 represents "that's totally me." Students will be able to score their answers with the included answer sheet to determine their dominant motivational style. Included is also a process on how to increase either intrinsic or extrinsic motivational style. Such process involves asking themselves a series of questions (7 questions) to target what they could do to increase their weaker motivational style since both styles are needed. The second part is an element research assignment where they are assigned an element, research it and create a summary presentation. The WebQuest comes with a complete answer key and the Element Assignment a detailed rubric which looks at the students presentation skills as well as content, layout and more. The tasks will take from 2-4 days depending on how long you allocate for student presentations .
