Target Audience: This workbook is designed for children ages 3–7 in preschool (Pre-K) or early grade 1. Pre-k – Ideal for teaching children to recognize the letters of the alphabet, the sounds they make, and the beginning of their ability to read (Chapters 1-33). Kindergarten – This workbook provides a variety of activities that correlate to the core objectives found in the K-12 English language arts curriculum such as: recognizing and reading short/long vowel sounds, identifying consonant blends/digraphs, and writing simple sentences (Chapters 34-102).
