As a comparison, they will read brief paragraphs about the camel, snapping turtle, and narwhal as well. Following the reading passages are two sets of differentiated worksheets. With them, learners will write one, two, or three adaptations of woodland animals. They also have the opportunity to list adaptations for non-woodland animals, too. After creating their lists, learners will compare and contrast two woodland and non-woodland animals based on their specific adaptations. To complete the activity , there is an area for learners to illustrate their comparison writing. These are a great set of print and go activities that allow for differentiated learning across several subjects. All worksheets are available in a color version, as well as a black & white version. It can be used at home, in the classroom, in a therapy setting, ABA setting, or anywhere! A favorite activity among teachers and students. It is easy for teachers to implement and students love the creativity aspect. This activity is easily adapted to meet the needs of the kiddos and addressed skills like opening and closing a containers, pressure applied, etc... Furthermore, this activity can be done sitting at a desk, prone on the floor, or even prone on a scooter to incorporate movement! If you want to give students extra practice with place value, I have just the resource for you. What You Get: This is aRounding to the Nearest 10 Worksheetthat was designed for 2nd grade students who are working on or have mastered this skill. It also works well as a review for students. It is a 2-page printable. Each page has a combination of 2-digit and 3-digit numbers. This provides an increase in complexity and differentiation for students. How To Implement This Resource: You can print off enough copies of this worksheet for each student to have. You may also choose to print only a few copies and laminate those. If you choose to laminate them, students can use dry erase markers to write answers. This is a great way to turn this into a math center or small group activity. Students will begin with practice for rounding to the nearest 10 and will move to rounding to the nearest 10 with 3-digit numbers. This is great for an independent assignment or homework. It also works well as a math quiz or assessment that could be scored for a grade.
