Jaguar important fact cards - These cards are miniature forms of the informational poster that students can use as reference for their report. Jaguar informational reading - This is a short reading passage that students can read to learn more about their animal. Comprehension questions for the comprehension passage - These are questions to check for understanding of the informational passage. Special Adaptation Cards - These cards highlight special adaptations and traits that this animal has that help it live and thrive in its environment. Animal Research Recording Page - This is a single page report recording page that students can use to create their animal report. Animal Research Flip Book Template - This flip book is a great place for students to record their research on their animal, or this can be used as the report itself. Research Paper Writing Pages - Students can use these pages to write a paragraph (or 2) about the animal they researched. Chemistry Binder Covers – Templates for Classroom Use Organize your chemistry handouts, notes, and units with visual clarity Simple and flexible templates to help organize your chemistry materials In my chemistry classes, it can be a challenge to keep things organized - especially when it comes to multiple units, lab notes, worksheets and review materials. To make it easier for my students and myself, I designed these simple binder sleeves. There are 12 different pages. The covers have a clean, colorful blob layout that is friendly but not distracting. I usually print them out and use them as cover sheets or as dividers in folders for students or teachers. They also work well for digital learning environments, e.g. as section covers in PDF files or on classroom platforms. I like that the color scheme allows students to quickly find what they are looking for, and it brings a little more structure to a subject that is often riddled with formulas and technical terms. When used as cover sheets, students can choose their favorite color for their cover sheet. This resource is handy - and has saved me a lot of time in lesson preparation and follow-up. What’s included: 12 chemistry-themed cover pages different colors zu choose as a cover sheet as a divider between the individual chemistry topics I've printed these on colored paper for my own binder and also used them digitally in student notebooks. Here’s a quick way to include real-world math , finding the difference (subtraction), and number lines in your daily calendar routine each morning in kindergarten, 1st grade, or 2nd grade! Have your students record the day's high and the day's low temperature in your city on this large thermometer. Then you can find the difference : which is the daily temperature range! INCLUDES METRIC (℃) & IMPERIAL (℉) How to Use this Calendar Routine: • Note: This product is created to be printed on large 11x17 paper! • Print a large thermometer (with your preferred units C or F) in colour. • Laminate the thermometer. • Then hang it up as part of your morning calendar routine. • Each day, you will look up the day's high and the day's low temperature in your city. • With your students, record the date, the high temperature, and the low temperature on the laminated chart using a whiteboard marker. • Have one or two students come up to circle the high & low temperature on the thermometer. • Then students can help you calculate the difference between these two temperatures to determine the daily temperature range. Many strategies can be used: Counting the dashes in between the two numbers Using mental math or known benchmarks (make a 10) Using the standard subtraction algorithm How to Use This as a Worksheet: • You could also print a thermometer on legal-sized paper to use as a worksheet for your students to complete. I created this water cycle science activity for young students who are beginning to learn how water moves through Earth’s systems. Each page focuses on a simple part of the water cycle, including evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection. The worksheets include clear diagrams, short explanations, and guided activities so students can understand the concept without feeling overwhelmed. This type of activity works well during science lessons, especially when students are being introduced to Earth science topics. It can be used as a whole-class activity, a science center, morning work, or extra practice after a lesson. I’ve used similar worksheets before, and students enjoy labeling diagrams and following the steps of the water cycle from start to finish. The pack is easy to print and works well in both color and black-and-white. It fits nicely into classroom routines and can also be used at home for review or reinforcement. Do you want to teach your grade 5-8 middle school math students how to self assess their own mathematical understanding to help them prepare and study more effectively for upcoming math assessments? This Grade 5-8 Math: Student Self-Assessment Tool works with ANY math unit or chapter in the intermediate grades and can be used over and over again all year to help your students practice the vital art of self assessment. How to Use: 1. Start this routine at the beginning of the year, near the end of your first math unit! 2. Go through the sample template with your students so they understand each part of it. 3. Then have your students fill in the template for their own learning in the current math unit to prepare for the upcoming test. 4. They start by filling in the unit name & chapter number. 5.
