This is a PowerPoint featuring Multiplication Flashcards for the 2 Times Table Number Facts and their related division sums. The flashcards can be used in order or shuffled to add an extra challenge. In addition, facts answered incorrectly can be moved and presented again at the end. If the teacher prepares the PowerPoint before the lesson, then the facts that are being worked on can be placed first. A quiz can be set up and timed to help children become proficient at the 2 X multiplication and division facts. A 'Ready, Steady, Go' slide helps to make the quiz more fun. A hundred square is included so that pupils can create the 2 X pattern. This can be used again and again. Students can then skip count in unison as the chart is created. This is a Phonic spelling programme. Not only will it teach a child to spell, but also to write. Just add a good handwriting programme. The spelling programme can be used with all ages from 5 to 99, however, if used with a young learner I strongly advise using the programme to teach both reading and spelling at the same time. See the website for more information and resources to teach young children. The spelling programme can be used: with children who have learnt to read, but need a spelling/writing programme with children who have tried another phonic programme and not made much progress with reading and/or spelling/writing with a special needs child who needs a very structured approach to learning by home educators by parents wishing to help their child at home About the programme The programme is very flexible and can be made to fit the child, rather than the child to fit the programme. Being highly structured, each new lesson builds on the one before, constantly revising the previously taught material The spelling programme will take 41 weeks to teach. One new sound is taught each week. What is included? This resource is a comprehensive lesson that uses 20 bedroom-related vocabulary words. First off, you can introduce these words by using the PDF -based presentation. With the arrow keys, you just move from one word to another to make your students familiar with them. Next, You can hand out the vocabulary lists. Beware that these are made with color, so in order to be eco-friendly you might want to use black and white ink. Once the students have taken these lists home, they can do the vocabulary test in their next class. They can practice with the words by utilizing the included flash cards. These just need to be printed, laminated, and cut. Beware of sharp edges though. You can use the curved edges version to avoid annoying pinches. Finally, use the Wacky Words activity to have a really good time in class. With this, all the letters are mixed up. Students love this.

Let's making learning Fry's sight words more interesting. This resources brings Fry's sight words into the digital age. Start off by introducing your students to these sight words by offering the PDF-based, Digital activity. Use the arrow keys to navigate through this resource after you opened it and displayed it on full screen. Students can even do this all by themselves. Then, test their sight word knowledge by opening up the digital fill in the blanks exercise. It works in the same way. Look at each question and press the right arrow key to reveal the answer. Do this for the entire quiz. Again, students can do this by themselves as well. If you would prefer to do this test on paper, no problem! There is a printable version as well, that comes with an answer key. Finally, there are two vocabulary lists, one in order of frequency and the other in alphabetical order. Let's do this!

This A-E Digraph decodable reading book + matching PowerPoint and worksheets for guided reading is one of a series that can help children with special needs develop reading fluency. Each book has a matching PowerPoint, making it suitable for various settings. This book tells the story of Caligula's attempt to conquer Britain. The Jack Stories, of which this book is one, introduce one phonics sound at a time, and subsequent books build on the vocabulary of the books before, constantly revising and reviewing learned sounds. Most words are introduced in their phonic family wherever possible. · It is truly multisensory, using the power of the hand. We not only look at the words, but we write them too. This is powerful and has the bonus of turning the child not only into a reader but into a writer as well. Typical signs that this programme can help: Those with dyslexia, or suspected of having dyslexia Difficulty recalling words when seen on flashcards or when reading texts, which results in no or little reading fluency b/d letter reversal of a chronic nature – i.e. the child has not grown out of it Difficulty ordering letters in words: E.g. top becomes pot.
