Number Formation posters
Math, Early Math, Numbers, Kindergarten, Preschool, Posters, Classroom Decor

Writing numerals accurately is vital for math readiness, but confusing number shapes trip up many emergent learners. These delightful number formation poem posters creatively cement proper stroke techniques through playful visual mnemonics and rhyming verse. The fusion of poetry and number formation is crafted to make the learning process engaging and enjoyable. Each poster features a visually appealing and context-rich poem alongside the corresponding number, creating a multisensory experience that caters to diverse learning styles. Beyond the aesthetic appeal, these posters serve a practical purpose. The carefully crafted poems act as mnemonic devices, providing a memorable rhythm that assists children in recalling the specific steps to form each number. This method not only reinforces motor skills but also contributes to the development of early literacy skills through the integration of rhythmic language. The incorporation of poems fosters a playful and interactive learning environment, where children can actively participate in reciting and internalizing the number formation process. As they engage with the posters, educators and parents can seize the opportunity to encourage verbalization, reinforcing both numerical and language development. Making proper numeral formation second nature from the start prevents later reversal confusion that hinders calculation fluency. These lively posters turn essential writing technique into delightful daily warm-ups worth repeating! Young mathematicians will delight in this hidden poetry enriching essential foundations for math success! Puzzles are very educational tools for children, due to the multiple benefits they provide us. Among them we can name the following: A. They are a source of mental exercise, because they exercise both the right and left hemispheres. Additionally, when you do a puzzle, you activate both sides of the brain, thus increasing your cognitive function. This in turn will help prevent long-term cognitive decline. B. Improving visual-spatial reasoning: By placing the pieces within a larger image, students develop their spatial reasoning. C. Increased IQ: Researchers have found that solving puzzles or riddles helps raise IQ by up to 4 points. D. Improving problem-solving skills: When solving these puzzles, children take different options or solution approaches, generally carrying out the trial-error process. Thus they learn to formulate theories, test hypotheses and even change perspectives, although they do all this in microseconds. All of this will help them have or encourage more critical thinking and improve their ability to adapt. 1. Product name: "Puzzle of numbers from 1 to 5, with a vegetable theme" 2. Page number: This document contains 10 pages. 3. Is it editable or not? It is not editable, it is ready to be printed. 4. Autumn Number Match Game – Spot the Number 0–30 Fall

Autumn Number Match Game – Spot the Number 0–30 Fall
Holiday & Seasonal, Language Development, ELA, Special Resources, Special Education Needs (SEN), Math, Early Math, Numbers, Seasons, Fall, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Task Cards, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Projects, Flashcards, Centers

Autumn Number Match Game Spot It Style Cards for Numbers 0–30 This autumn number game is built on the idea of the classic “Spot It” style, but instead of pictures, the focus here is on numbers. Students practice recognizing numbers from 0 up to 30 while playing against each other in a quick, visual matching activity. I first used it in my math centers in October, when the fall theme felt right, and it has been easy to bring out again each year. The resource includes 93 cards in total. There are three full decks of 31 cards each, and every two cards always share exactly one number in common. The decks come in three shapes—round, square, and hexagon—so you can choose what works best for your classroom. I usually cut one set of square cards for daily use because they are fastest to prepare, and then I keep the round set laminated for special occasions. The rules are simple. Each student gets a card. A card from the pile is placed in the middle, and everyone searches for the one number that appears on both. The first student to spot it calls it out and collects the card. The winner is the one with the most cards at the end. The pace keeps the game lively, and students naturally want to play more than once. What I like about this game is the flexibility. For beginners, I often reduce the range to numbers 0–10 so it feels manageable. Later I expand to 0–20 or the full 0–30. Some groups add their own rules, like playing in teams or keeping tally marks on a score sheet, which gives them extra practice with recording numbers. It works well as a math center, a partner game, or as an activity for early finishers. Because it takes only a few minutes to explain, I sometimes use it at the end of class when we have a little extra time. The autumn design makes it seasonal, but the math practice—recognizing and saying numbers—fits into any unit on counting and number sense. Preparation is easy: print the cards, cut them out, and laminate if you want them to last longer. I store mine in small envelopes so they are ready whenever I need them. Warm regards, Lernfitness Did You Know? I teach with a certified therapy dog, and together we focus on creating a positive and inspiring learning environment.

Halloween Spanish Number Domino Game – Numbers and Number Words 0–30

Halloween Spanish Number Domino Game – Numbers and Number Words 0–30
Holiday & Seasonal, Special Resources, Special Education Needs (SEN), Halloween, Holidays, Math, Early Math, Numbers, Foreign Languages, Spanish, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Task Cards, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Quizzes, Projects, Flashcards

🇪🇸 Halloween Spanish Number Domino Game Numbers and Number Words 0–30 This Halloween-themed domino game gives students a playful way to practice Spanish numbers from 0 to 30. I started using it with a mixed-level class where some students were still learning basic counting, while others were already comfortable with larger numbers. The game format made it possible for everyone to join in, and the seasonal design added a bit of fun to the lesson. There are two different sets included, with a total of 68 domino cards. One set shows numbers with the full Spanish number words, while the second set breaks the words into syllables. The syllable version works well for early readers or students who need extra support with pronunciation. I found it especially useful for words like diecinueve or veintisiete , where students often get stuck. The game can be adjusted depending on the level of the group. You can play with just 0–10 for beginners, 0–20 for extra practice, or the full 0–30 for more of a challenge. Having these options means the same resource can be used in different grades or for different ability levels without extra preparation. To play, students take turns placing their dominoes so that numbers and number words match. The activity works at tables, in small groups, or even on the floor if you want to add some movement. I sometimes let teams race to build the longest chain, which adds a bit of excitement. Others prefer to play slowly and check each word carefully, which turns it into a review activity. This domino set fits well into Spanish lessons, bilingual classrooms, or even math centers with a language focus. It supports number recognition, word reading, and cooperative play. Preparation is minimal: print the cards, cut them out, and laminate them if you want to use them again next year. Once ready, they store easily in a small box or envelope. All cards are in Spanish, and teacher instructions are provided in English / Spanish. Warm regards, Lernfitness Did You Know? I teach with a certified therapy dog, and together we focus on creating a positive and inspiring learning environment.

Fall Spanish Domino Game – Numbers and Number Words 0–30

Fall Spanish Domino Game – Numbers and Number Words 0–30
Holiday & Seasonal, Special Resources, Special Education Needs (SEN), Math, Early Math, Numbers, Foreign Languages, Spanish, Seasons, Fall, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Quizzes, Projects, Flashcards, Centers

🇪🇸 Fall Spanish Domino Game Numbers and Number Words 0–30 This fall domino game gives students a playful way to practice Spanish numbers from 0 to 30. All the cards are written in Spanish, so learners get repeated exposure to both numerals and number words. I like to use it in the autumn when students are already excited about the season, and the game format makes the language practice feel natural. The set includes 68 domino cards. One version shows the standard number words, and the other breaks the words into syllables to support reading fluency. I found that the syllable version works especially well for students who hesitate with longer words like diecisiete or veinticuatro . It helps them read step by step and builds their confidence. The game can be adapted easily by number range. For beginners, I usually stop at 0–10, then expand to 0–20, and later play with the full 0–30 set. This flexibility means I can reuse the same cards throughout the year as the class progresses. Playing follows the familiar domino rules. The first card is placed in the middle, and each player takes turns matching a number with the correct number word. If a student cannot play, they pass until their next turn. The game ends when all cards have been used, or when no more moves are possible. Sometimes we play competitively to see who can finish first, and other times we work together to build the longest chain on the floor. Both versions keep students focused and engaged. Preparation is simple. Print the cards, cut them apart, and laminate if you want them to last for several years. I store each level—0–10, 0–20, 0–30—in separate envelopes so it’s quick to grab the right set for the group I’m teaching. This activity works well in dual language classrooms, Spanish immersion, and world language lessons. It supports number recognition, vocabulary, reading fluency, and teamwork, while adding just enough seasonal flavor to make practice feel special. Warm regards, Lernfitness Did You Know? French Halloween Domino Game – Numbers 0–30 and Number Words

French Halloween Domino Game – Numbers 0–30 and Number Words
Holiday & Seasonal, Special Resources, Special Education Needs (SEN), Halloween, Holidays, Math, Early Math, Numbers, Foreign Languages, French, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Task Cards, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Quizzes, Projects, Flashcards

🇫🇷 Halloween French Number Domino Game Numbers and Number Words 0–30 This domino set offers a seasonal way to practice French numbers and number words from 0 to 30 . I first used it with a beginner French group in October, and it was a simple but effective way to bring some holiday spirit into the classroom while still focusing on vocabulary. The familiar domino format meant that students could understand the rules right away, so we could spend more time practicing the language and less time explaining. The resource includes two complete domino sets with 68 cards in total. The first version pairs numerals with the full French number words, while the second version shows the number words broken into syllables. This syllable version is especially helpful for early readers or for students who hesitate with longer words like dix-huit or vingt-neuf . I found that it gave them more confidence to read aloud without stumbling. You can adapt the game easily to different levels. For beginners, I often use only the 0–10 range. As students progress, I expand to 0–20 or 0–30. Having these built-in options makes it simple to differentiate within the same class. The game itself can be played at desks, in small groups, or even spread out on the floor if you want to give students more space and movement. Some groups like to race to finish the chain quickly, while others take a slower pace, checking each word as they go. Either way, students stay engaged and get repeated practice with the vocabulary. This activity works well in French immersion programs, FSL classes, or bilingual settings. It can be used as part of a math center with a language twist, for partner practice, or as a light seasonal activity during October. Preparation is minimal: just print the cards, cut them, and laminate if you want them to last for several years. Once prepared, they store easily in a small envelope or box for quick use in future lessons. The entire game is in French, with teacher instructions provided in English/French. Halloween Number Matching Game – Spot It Style Cards for Numbers 0–30

Halloween Number Matching Game – Spot It Style Cards for Numbers 0–30
Holiday & Seasonal, Language Development, ELA, Special Resources, Special Education Needs (SEN), Halloween, Holidays, Math, Early Math, Numbers, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Task Cards, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Quizzes, Projects, Flashcards

Halloween Number Matching Game – Spot It Style Cards for Numbers 0–30 This Halloween number game is designed in the style of “Spot It,” but with a focus on number recognition from 0 to 30 . I first tried it with a kindergarten group who were working on number sense and one-to-one matching, and it quickly became a favorite activity. The Halloween images give it a seasonal feel, but it stays simple enough for young learners to use without distraction. The set comes with 93 cards , divided into three full decks of 31 cards each. Every card shows six numbers, and any two cards always have exactly one number in common. Students compare their card with the one in the center pile and race to spot the matching number. The first to call it out keeps the card. Play continues until the pile is finished, and the player with the most cards wins. There are three versions of the cards included: round, square, and hexagonal. I usually prepare one laminated set to use in math centers, while keeping the printer-friendly square cards as a backup. The hexagonal cards are fun if you want to offer a different look, and they tend to spark extra interest. This game supports a range of early math skills. Students practice number recognition, visual scanning, and quick decision-making. In small groups, it also helps with social learning – taking turns, encouraging others, and coping with both winning and losing. For some of my ESL students, saying the numbers out loud during the game provided extra practice with pronunciation. It works well in centers, as a transition activity, or as an option for early finishers. The preparation is minimal: just print, cut, and, if you’d like, laminate for durability. Because the game can be played quickly, it fits easily into a short block of class time. Recommended for Pre-K, kindergarten, and grade 1, though older students might enjoy it as a light challenge. This resource combines the excitement of a Halloween theme with meaningful math practice, and it can be reused year after year. Warm regards, Lernfitness Did You Know?
