Halloween Spanish Number Domino Game – Numbers and Number Words 0–30

Halloween Spanish Number Domino Game – Numbers and Number Words 0–30
Holiday & Seasonal, Special Resources, Special Education Needs (SEN), Halloween, Holidays, Math, Early Math, Numbers, Foreign Languages, Spanish, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Task Cards, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Quizzes, Projects, Flashcards

🇪🇸 Halloween Spanish Number Domino Game Numbers and Number Words 0–30 This Halloween-themed domino game gives students a playful way to practice Spanish numbers from 0 to 30. I started using it with a mixed-level class where some students were still learning basic counting, while others were already comfortable with larger numbers. The game format made it possible for everyone to join in, and the seasonal design added a bit of fun to the lesson. There are two different sets included, with a total of 68 domino cards. One set shows numbers with the full Spanish number words, while the second set breaks the words into syllables. The syllable version works well for early readers or students who need extra support with pronunciation. I found it especially useful for words like diecinueve or veintisiete , where students often get stuck. The game can be adjusted depending on the level of the group. You can play with just 0–10 for beginners, 0–20 for extra practice, or the full 0–30 for more of a challenge. Having these options means the same resource can be used in different grades or for different ability levels without extra preparation. To play, students take turns placing their dominoes so that numbers and number words match. The activity works at tables, in small groups, or even on the floor if you want to add some movement. I sometimes let teams race to build the longest chain, which adds a bit of excitement. Others prefer to play slowly and check each word carefully, which turns it into a review activity. This domino set fits well into Spanish lessons, bilingual classrooms, or even math centers with a language focus. It supports number recognition, word reading, and cooperative play. Preparation is minimal: print the cards, cut them out, and laminate them if you want to use them again next year. Once ready, they store easily in a small box or envelope. All cards are in Spanish, and teacher instructions are provided in English / Spanish. Warm regards, Lernfitness Did You Know? Autumn Number Match Game – Spot the Number 0–30 Fall

Autumn Number Match Game – Spot the Number 0–30 Fall

Autumn Number Match Game Spot It Style Cards for Numbers 0–30 This autumn number game is built on the idea of the classic “Spot It” style, but instead of pictures, the focus here is on numbers. Students practice recognizing numbers from 0 up to 30 while playing against each other in a quick, visual matching activity. I first used it in my math centers in October, when the fall theme felt right, and it has been easy to bring out again each year. The resource includes 93 cards in total. There are three full decks of 31 cards each, and every two cards always share exactly one number in common. The decks come in three shapes—round, square, and hexagon—so you can choose what works best for your classroom. I usually cut one set of square cards for daily use because they are fastest to prepare, and then I keep the round set laminated for special occasions. The rules are simple. Each student gets a card. A card from the pile is placed in the middle, and everyone searches for the one number that appears on both. The first student to spot it calls it out and collects the card. The winner is the one with the most cards at the end. The pace keeps the game lively, and students naturally want to play more than once. What I like about this game is the flexibility. For beginners, I often reduce the range to numbers 0–10 so it feels manageable. Later I expand to 0–20 or the full 0–30. Some groups add their own rules, like playing in teams or keeping tally marks on a score sheet, which gives them extra practice with recording numbers. It works well as a math center, a partner game, or as an activity for early finishers. Because it takes only a few minutes to explain, I sometimes use it at the end of class when we have a little extra time. The autumn design makes it seasonal, but the math practice—recognizing and saying numbers—fits into any unit on counting and number sense. Preparation is easy: print the cards, cut them out, and laminate if you want them to last longer. I store mine in small envelopes so they are ready whenever I need them. Fall Domino Game – Numbers and Number Words 0–30

Fall Domino Game – Numbers and Number Words 0–30
Holiday & Seasonal, Language Development, ELA, Special Resources, Special Education Needs (SEN), Math, Early Math, Numbers, Seasons, Fall, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Quizzes, Projects, Flashcards, Centers

Fall Domino Game Numbers 0–30 and Number Words This autumn domino game is a hands-on way for students to practice both numbers and number words from 0 to 30. I introduced it during the fall term with my grade 1 class, and the students immediately understood the rules because it follows the familiar domino format. The seasonal design added a nice touch, but the main benefit was the repeated practice with connecting numbers and words. The set includes 68 cards in total, with two different versions. One version shows the standard number words, while the second version breaks the words into syllables. I noticed that the syllable version was especially helpful for younger readers or for students who still found longer number words challenging. Words such as “seventeen” or “twenty-four” became easier to read and pronounce when broken down into smaller parts. The game can be adjusted by number range, which makes it easy to differentiate. With beginners, I often start with 0–10 so that the game feels manageable. Later I expand the set to 0–20, and eventually the full 0–30 for more advanced groups. Because of this flexibility, the same set can be reused throughout the year with different levels of learners. There are several ways to play. In small groups, students take turns matching numbers with the correct number words, trying to be the first to play all their cards. In a whole-class setting, I sometimes spread the cards across the floor and let students work together to build one long domino chain. This version turns the game into a collaborative activity and gets everyone moving while still practicing number recognition. Preparation is simple. Print the cards, cut them apart, and laminate them if you want to reuse the set in future years. I keep mine in small envelopes labeled with 0–10, 0–20, and 0–30 so I can quickly pull the right range for each group. The activity works well in math centers, small group rotations, or even as a fun review during October. Warm regards, Lernfitness Did You Know? Halloween Number Words Game – “Who Has It?” Numbers 0–30

Halloween Number Words Game – “Who Has It?” Numbers 0–30

Halloween Number Words Game – “Who Has It?” Numbers 0–30 This Halloween-themed version of the classic “Who Has It?” game gives students a playful way to practice numbers and number words from 0 to 30 . I first tried it with a small group during October, when energy levels were high and attention spans were short, and it turned out to be a great balance of movement, listening, and speaking. The set includes two full versions, with 72 cards in total. One version shows the number words in standard print, while the other version has the words split into syllables. I often use the syllable cards with younger learners or with students who are still gaining confidence in reading longer words like seventeen or twenty-one . For more advanced readers, the standard cards are enough. The game is flexible in terms of number range. You can play just with numbers 0–10 for beginners, extend to 0–20 for a bit more challenge, or use the full 0–30 set. This makes it possible to adapt the game across different groups or levels without needing to prepare new materials. Here’s how it works: each student gets one or more cards. The student with the “Start” card begins by saying, “I have zero. Who has one?” The student holding “one” continues, and the game moves on until the final “End” card is reached. I have found that students enjoy the rhythm of the activity, and because everyone has to listen carefully for their turn, it supports attention and listening comprehension too. The cards can be used in whole-class lessons, small groups, or as a math center activity. They also work well for early finishers, since the game doesn’t require a lot of explanation once the rules are understood. The blank cards included in the set allow you to adjust for different class sizes or add your own variations. Preparation is straightforward: print, cut, and, if you’d like, laminate for durability. Once the cards are ready, they can be reused year after year. This game supports number recognition, number word reading, listening, speaking in full sentences, and classroom collaboration—all within a light Halloween theme that adds just enough seasonal fun without distracting from the learning goal. Warm regards, Lernfitness Did You Know? I teach with a certified therapy dog, and together we focus on creating a positive and inspiring learning environment.

Fall Spanish Domino Game – Numbers and Number Words 0–30

Fall Spanish Domino Game – Numbers and Number Words 0–30
Holiday & Seasonal, Special Resources, Special Education Needs (SEN), Math, Early Math, Numbers, Foreign Languages, Spanish, Seasons, Fall, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Quizzes, Projects, Flashcards, Centers

🇪🇸 Fall Spanish Domino Game Numbers and Number Words 0–30 This fall domino game gives students a playful way to practice Spanish numbers from 0 to 30. All the cards are written in Spanish, so learners get repeated exposure to both numerals and number words. I like to use it in the autumn when students are already excited about the season, and the game format makes the language practice feel natural. The set includes 68 domino cards. One version shows the standard number words, and the other breaks the words into syllables to support reading fluency. I found that the syllable version works especially well for students who hesitate with longer words like diecisiete or veinticuatro . It helps them read step by step and builds their confidence. The game can be adapted easily by number range. For beginners, I usually stop at 0–10, then expand to 0–20, and later play with the full 0–30 set. This flexibility means I can reuse the same cards throughout the year as the class progresses. Playing follows the familiar domino rules. The first card is placed in the middle, and each player takes turns matching a number with the correct number word. If a student cannot play, they pass until their next turn. The game ends when all cards have been used, or when no more moves are possible. Sometimes we play competitively to see who can finish first, and other times we work together to build the longest chain on the floor. Both versions keep students focused and engaged. Preparation is simple. Print the cards, cut them apart, and laminate if you want them to last for several years. I store each level—0–10, 0–20, 0–30—in separate envelopes so it’s quick to grab the right set for the group I’m teaching. This activity works well in dual language classrooms, Spanish immersion, and world language lessons. It supports number recognition, vocabulary, reading fluency, and teamwork, while adding just enough seasonal flavor to make practice feel special. Warm regards, Lernfitness Did You Know? “I Have, Who Has?” – Number Words Game (Christmas Version)

“I Have, Who Has?” – Number Words Game (Christmas Version)
Holiday & Seasonal, Language Development, ELA, Special Resources, Special Education Needs (SEN), Math, Early Math, Numbers, Holidays, Christmas, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Task Cards, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Projects, Flashcards, Centers

“I Have, Who Has?” – Number Words Game (Christmas Version) In my early elementary classes, I’ve often found that the weeks before winter break call for simple, low-pressure activities that still support learning. That’s why I’ve used this number word version of “I Have, Who Has?” so many times—especially with students who are still building confidence in recognizing numbers and reading number words. The game includes number ranges from 0 to 30, so it’s easy to adapt. For some groups, I only use 0 to 10. For others, I include more cards depending on how comfortable they are with the vocabulary. I’ve even used this as a listening activity in small ESL groups, because it gives students repeated exposure to spoken and written number words in a playful format. There’s also a version with syllable breaks, which helps a lot with early readers or children working on pronunciation. The way we usually play it is simple. Each student receives one or more cards, and the round begins when someone says, “I have one. Who has six?” The game continues until all cards have been played. It takes a few minutes for students to get used to the rhythm, but after that, they’re fully focused and often ask to play another round. It also works well when we play in a circle or in smaller groups during center time. What I like most about this game is that it helps students hear, read, and say numbers in context, without needing worksheets or flashcards. I’ve printed my sets on colored paper to help keep different levels organized, and I keep them in envelopes for easy access year after year. The prep is quick, and it fits easily into a short block of time—whether it’s a transition, a review session, or just something calm to end the day. 📍 Happy teaching, Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know? Halloween Number Matching Game – Spot It Style Cards for Numbers 0–30

Halloween Number Matching Game – Spot It Style Cards for Numbers 0–30
Holiday & Seasonal, Language Development, ELA, Special Resources, Special Education Needs (SEN), Halloween, Holidays, Math, Early Math, Numbers, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Task Cards, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Quizzes, Projects, Flashcards

Halloween Number Matching Game – Spot It Style Cards for Numbers 0–30 This Halloween number game is designed in the style of “Spot It,” but with a focus on number recognition from 0 to 30 . I first tried it with a kindergarten group who were working on number sense and one-to-one matching, and it quickly became a favorite activity. The Halloween images give it a seasonal feel, but it stays simple enough for young learners to use without distraction. The set comes with 93 cards , divided into three full decks of 31 cards each. Every card shows six numbers, and any two cards always have exactly one number in common. Students compare their card with the one in the center pile and race to spot the matching number. The first to call it out keeps the card. Play continues until the pile is finished, and the player with the most cards wins. There are three versions of the cards included: round, square, and hexagonal. I usually prepare one laminated set to use in math centers, while keeping the printer-friendly square cards as a backup. The hexagonal cards are fun if you want to offer a different look, and they tend to spark extra interest. This game supports a range of early math skills. Students practice number recognition, visual scanning, and quick decision-making. In small groups, it also helps with social learning – taking turns, encouraging others, and coping with both winning and losing. For some of my ESL students, saying the numbers out loud during the game provided extra practice with pronunciation. It works well in centers, as a transition activity, or as an option for early finishers. The preparation is minimal: just print, cut, and, if you’d like, laminate for durability. Because the game can be played quickly, it fits easily into a short block of class time. Recommended for Pre-K, kindergarten, and grade 1, though older students might enjoy it as a light challenge. This resource combines the excitement of a Halloween theme with meaningful math practice, and it can be reused year after year. Warm regards, Lernfitness Did You Know?
