Converting Units of Measurement Task Cards

Add this set of 20 task cards to your math curriculum and give your upper elementary learners the opportunity to practice skills with an element of fun. Designed for 5th graders and 6th graders who are learning about converting units of measurement, these task cards are the perfect engaging learning activity. As they work their way through the cards, your learners will focus on converting units of measurement in time, length, weight, and liquid volume. A one-page visual guide is provided for learners who need extra guidance in remembering the various units of measurement. Along with that, there are four different types of questions throughout the cards. Learners will answer direct questions, multiple choice questions, fill-in the blank statements, and real-world scenario word problems. If you’ve used task cards before, you know what a complementary activity they are to any lesson. If you’re new to using task cards, this product will introduce you to their versatility. Use them in your educational environment or take your learners outdoors for a unique learning opportunity. Another benefit of task cards is that they can be used in a large group or small group setting. This product includes a color version and a black & white version of the task cards. Please note that both versions are identical. If you print the cards on cardstock and laminate them, you’ll have an activity that can be used year over year. An answer recording sheet is included for each learner. Each sheet comes two to a page to reduce the number of copies and/or amount of ink/toner you will use.
