Instructions Add 2 cups of cornstarch to the bowl, then add 1 cup of water and stir everything. After combining the mixture, add 1 cup of sand and stir. Chinese Lantern Activity The activity is perfect for encouraging the researching skills for the students, while learning more about this fantastic place. Chinese Lantern This friendly designed worksheet is suitable for students at school, homeschooling, and as a group activity. Circuit Preparation Bend the pins of the LED at a 90 degrees angle. Place the battery between the pins and tape them together, then use the binder clip to hold everything tighter. Note: Make sure the negative end of the battery (Which is the bottom) is connected to the negative part of the LED (which is the shorter pin). Instructions Cut everything out and fold along the solid lines, then use the tabs to create a cuboid. Before gluing the cuboid together, put the LED inside, then close the cuboid. Spray some vegetable oil on the cuboid to make it more translucent. Watch the lantern light up! Format Available in a PDF format.

They are prepared for increasingly complex mathematics in middle school and beyond by the challenges each topic offers. How to Use: 1) Each student will be assigned a monthly budget (from $1,700 all the way to $5,000). 2) They select one of three options (low, medium, pricey) for each spending category: housing, eating, transportation, technology, & clothing. They might find that they have to change their choices as they move through the process. Making sacrifices is part of budgeting in real life too! 3) Students add up the amounts they spend and calculate how much they can save per month (and throughout the entire year). 4) They pick what luxury option they would save for over time: a car, a video game system, a vacation, or a house.
