Lapbooking Thru American History

Lapbooking Thru American History
Social Studies, History, History: USA, Grade 5, 6, 7, 8, Activities

We fell into lapbooking a few years ago, almost by accident. We had both stayed away from lapbooks because they seemed too complicated and time consuming. But once we were introduced to the easier ways of lapbooking we took off with the concept! Since we are firm believers in making education more hands on, lapbooking resonated with both of us. Before we knew it we were using lapbooks to teach U.S. Presidents, to help teach about the Lewis and Clark Expedition, and much more. It seemed that everywhere we turned there was another good opportunity to put together a lapbook. While working on expanding our Lapbooking Made Easy book recently, it occurred to us that we had lapbooked our way most of the way through American History, and put together numerous lapbooks on American History in the process. For the first time, we are putting nine of those various lapbooks together in one, inexpensive book. It is our hope that this will make lapbooking easier for you and your students, as well as make learning about American History more fun! For more lapbooking fun,
