The Tuskegee Airmen - Mini Unit This mini unit is designed to teach students about the contributions of the famous Tuskegee Airmen during and after World War Two. Reading pages cover the following topics: Early black aviation pioneers Formation & training. Fighting overseas. Myths of the 332nd. Postwar legacy. I've also included biographies of early African-American aviation pioneers from prior to World War Two including: Eugene Bullard Bessie Coleman William Powell John Robinson James Banning A PowerPoint presentation is included to help guide teachers and students through the lessons. I've also created a folder with materials which can be uploaded to your personal Google Classroom site if you have one. Additionally, a collection of pictures are included which represent the pioneers and their lives. Total resources included are: Reading and Worksheets: For students to inform themselves on the topics provided and also demonstrate learning of the information. PowerPoint Presentation: To inform students of the contributions of Tuskegee Airmen within the topics provided.
