SEL Document Self-Care Hyperdoc In this hyperdocument, you will find resources for students to explore what self-care means; socially, emotionally and physically. This is 100% online so students can do this remotely or in class on their computers. You can also assign this as homework. This is a wonderful tool and resource for any SEL class, Health class, PE class, etc. This hyperdoc contains the following sections: Read & Learn Section-Students will learn about the 3 domains of self0care-socially, emotionally and physically. Explore Section-Students will get to take a "self-care" survey. This section contains both the survey and the scoring sheet. Students will discover what areas need more attention and growth in and which areas they are doing a good job in self-care. In this section, there is also 2 separate videos. One is on stress management and one is on self-care strategies. Both use VideoLink, which is a safe for kids resource for videos. Think & Respond-In this section students can write down their own responses to the questions asked about self-care. They can write within the document itself. Apply Knowledge-In this section students are given some options to reinforce the concepts they have learned. They can interview a family member or friend about how they practice self-care or they can write down what they will do to practice self-care. This resource is well suited for middle school as well as high schoolers. This can be used remotely or assigned to students as homework if they are attending an in person class.
