Blobs – Colorful Backgrounds for Teaching Materials and More 13 abstract blob-style backgrounds in multiple formats (PNG, JPG, TIFF) 🎨 PNG + PDF + TIFF Sometimes, a small design element can bring new life to teaching materials, worksheets, or even classroom decorations. I created these blobs-style backgrounds to add a friendly and creative touch to the resources I use with my students – and I now use them regularly across many different formats. Each background is designed in A4 format and comes in three file types (PNG, JPG, TIFF), so you can use them easily in PowerPoint, Canva, Word, or on your digital whiteboard. I made the blobs myself using Procreate, and they’ve quickly become a go-to design element for my materials – from flashcards to worksheet covers to game boards. This 'ou' set of 2 phonics anchor charts is excellent for acquainting children with words in the 'ou' spelling family, for both reading and spelling development. What is included in the pack? One brightly coloured 'ou' phonic anchor chart which can be used as a word wall, or for teacher use One black and white phonics anchor chart, which can be coloured by pupils What do the worksheets involve? The colour 'ou' anchor chart can be used as a word wall or as an aid to teaching the 'ou' digraph. The black and white anchor chart can be coloured by the pupil. The act of colouring helps the family of 'ou' words to be fixed together as a group of words in the child's memory. In addition, children can be encouraged to think of a story, using as many words on the 'ou' anchor chart as possible. How to use the anchor charts One of the great difficulties of learning digraphs, encountered by the middle and lower thirds of the class, is remembering which digraph to use for each word. Practice reading AP words with these word family word wall cards. These cards make a great wall display for a phonics focused word wall as well as a reference resource within a writing center . What is in this resource? This resource includes word wall cards for the AP word family. This set contains both CVC and CCVC words in two different formats. On each card you will find an illustration which is representing an AP word that is written in large font for students to recognize and read easily. Students will be able to match the illustration with the AP word. There are two sets included in this resource, one with words on the cards in black letters and the other have the rime highlighted in red. This allows students to easily blend onset and rime to read each word. How to use this resource: This resource can be used as word wall cards. This resource can be used as puzzles by cutting the picture from the word. This resource can be used in a writing center as reference cards This resource can be used as writing cards for a sand or salt tray The cards can be used as flash cards These cards can be easily differentiated, allowing students a variety of different activities to practice reading CVC words. Students can use these cards as a reference when writing stories, sentences, labeling pictures, or copying in a writing center . GHS Pictogram Cliparts Glitter Design for Chemistry Classrooms, Crafts and Materials PNG If you’ve ever found the standard GHS (Globally Harmonized System) pictograms a bit too plain or uninspiring for your teaching materials, you’re not alone. That’s exactly why I decided to redesign them with a fresh twist. These 18 cliparts—9 in portrait and 9 in landscape format—combine the clarity of the official hazard symbols with a visually striking glitter effect. The colors remain true to the original system (red border, black symbol), but the glitter gives them a unique and eye-catching feel. I created each of these cliparts by hand in Procreate, with the classroom in mind. They’re still clearly recognizable as hazard pictograms, but they add a touch of design that fits beautifully into worksheets, posters, or digital resources.
