These cute alphabet coloring pages allow students to practice finding the sound of letters in words that they know. It also gives them an opportunity to have a hands-on activity that activates their creativity! How to Use This: When you're teaching a new letter, these coloring pages can be a great addition to your plans. Hand out the coloring page that coordinates with the focus letter. Help them find the letter in the label underneath each picture. Have them say the item's name as they point to the item. Then give them crayons or markers and let them all loose coloring! When they're all done, have them brainstorm another word that starts with the focus letter. Have them try and sound it out and write it on the provided line at the bottom of the coloring page. These coloring pages are great independent work, center fillers, homework, or just additions to your letter lessons. They would also be fun to display on a bulletin board or in the hallway.
