What You Get: This is a Number Sequences Activity Setthat was designed for elementary students who are working on or have mastered this skill. It also works well as a review for students. There are 2 separate PDFs included: - Worksheet with 3 activity problems - Answer key How To Implement This Resource: You can print off enough copies of the worksheet for each student to have. You may also choose to print only a few copies and laminate those. If you choose to laminate them, students can use dry erase markers to solve the problems. This is a great activity to place into a math center or small group activity . The activities included are: 1. What’s the rule? – There are 16 questions. Students will look at each sequence to determine if the numbers are increasing or decreasing and by how many. 2. Missing Number Sequences – There are 14 questions. Students will determine the rule and then fill in the missing numbers. 3. Follow the Rule! – There are 14 questions. Students will read the rules and complete the number sequences. These no-prep, self checking cut and paste math puzzles are great for helping students to focus on addition as they do number bonds for number 29. Preparation: Just print and go! There are 2 pages for each number – The main worksheet and a page with puzzle pieces that need to be cut out and pasted on the worksheet. Each student will need a copy of both pages. There is also a “Back of Puzzle Pieces” page. This needs to be printed on the reverse side of all puzzle pieces pages. There are 2 printing options – colour or black and white You can also mix and match the colour and black and white pages. For example, you could print only the puzzle pieces in colour and the worksheet in black and white if you wish. They must find the pieces that match the sums and paste the pieces on the correct squares, with the numbers facing downwards and the picture facing upwards. Friendly Versus Unfriendly Behaviors SEL Sorting Activity In this product, students will sort friendly versus unfriendly behaviors. You can have students do this independently, with a partner/group, or laminate for repeated use in a Center 's activity. There is no reading required. This is a great follow-up activity to your favorite friendship or friendly behavior story. This is a great resource for social-emotional learning, as a sorting activity, to increase social skills and friendly behaviors, etc. The Suggested Directions include: 1. Read a story about being friendly to others. Some good stories are How To Be A Friend by Marc Brown or a A Little Spot Makes Friends by Diane Alber-or any of your favorite friend books or books about being friendly towards others. 2. Print off all 4 pages to each student, partnership or group. This can also be used for a Center ’s activity. 3. If going to use over and over, laminate cards and sorting sheets. 4.
