This project combines science with creativity and art. I find this the most effective way to engage students who might like science but really enjoy other things like drawing and computer work. However, it still allows you to assess their understanding of photosynthesis. Here is the first bit of the project so you have an idea of what the rest will look like. Objective: The purpose of this assignment is for students to consolidate their understanding of the photosynthesis process by designing an original and engaging infographic. This visual should effectively communicate the key stages of photosynthesis, including the absorption of light, conversion of energy, and production of oxygen. Assignment Description: You are tasked with creating an infographic that breaks down the complex process of photosynthesis into easy-to-understand components. Your design should be both educational and creative, capturing the attention of viewers and providing them with a clear understanding of how photosynthesis sustains life on Earth.

Chinese Lantern Activity The activity is perfect for encouraging the researching skills for the students, while learning more about this fantastic place. Chinese Lantern This friendly designed worksheet is suitable for students at school, homeschooling, and as a group activity. Circuit Preparation Bend the pins of the LED at a 90 degrees angle. Place the battery between the pins and tape them together, then use the binder clip to hold everything tighter. Note: Make sure the negative end of the battery (Which is the bottom) is connected to the negative part of the LED (which is the shorter pin). Instructions Cut everything out and fold along the solid lines, then use the tabs to create a cuboid. Before gluing the cuboid together, put the LED inside, then close the cuboid. Spray some vegetable oil on the cuboid to make it more translucent. Watch the lantern light up! Format Available in a PDF format.
