This letter R flipbook is the perfect tool to help preschoolers and kindergarteners learn all about the letter R! The different pages in this flip book allow students to practice recognizing the letter, writing the letter, and identifying words that begin with the letter. What is Included: This flip book has a cover page for students to simply color. The seek and find page practices letter recognition by having students identify capital and lowercase forms of the letter. The find and color page practices letter recognition of the target letter from other letters of the alphabet. Students can use dot markers to mark the letters, they can color in the letter or use stickers to cover the letters. The cut and paste page allows students to work with scissor skills to cut out examples of the letter from either printed materials, like magazines or newspapers, or students can use the letters provided at the bottom of the page. The trace and write page allows students to practice tracing and writing the capital and lowercase forms of the letter. Involve them in bucket drumming with Taylor Swift's smash hit "22" There are three all-color coded slides along with the form identifiers listed next to each phrase. The words in this set follow a CVC or CCVC spelling pattern. Included in this resource: This resource includes one word mat and one sentence mat, both for reading IG words in insolation and in context. There are also picture cards that correspond with each word and sentence. To complete this activity, students will read each IG word or sentence on the mat and then match the corresponding pictures.
