Why not extend learning by discussing with your children the similarities and differences between older and younger animals and also between the different types of animals? Extend children’s vocabulary by describing animal body parts such as tail, hooves, paws, fur, snout, etc. Ask questions such as ‘Which animal has the longest/shortest tail?’ The 10 puzzles also each have a unique way of fitting together which enables self-checking.
