This resource contains foldable books for the sight word: for. The pages included in this product are: There are 2 sight word activity foldable books. Both books have a cover page to color, a seek and find activity where students color or dab the sight word, and an area where students will trace the sight word. One book has a page where students will simply read sentences containing the sight word, while the other contains sentences for students to first write the sight word, then read the sentences. There are 2 sight word emergent readers. One reader has students simply color an image and read the sentence containing the target sight word. The second reader contains the same sentences with the sight word missing. Students will write the sight word, then read the sentences on these books. How to Make: Students can either fold the books first or complete the activities before folding the book. The order is not important. To create the books, students will first fold the book along the horizontal line, then they will fold along the vertical line. Uses for this product: * Use the number cards to sort the facts by their sum. * Use the addition mats to sort math facts * Create a greater than, less than and equal to activity for comparing sums of addition facts * Give students a group of addition cards and have them put the cards in order from least to greatest. * Play concentration or memory where students must match the addition facts with the same sums to get a pair. * Play war where students with the largest sum wins both addition fact cards The teacher may choose to create a file folder activity using these math mats. By attaching the mat to one side of the file folder, and attaching hook and loop fasteners to the mat and cards, the teacher can create an easy to set up and put away center for students to use independently. These math mats are low prep. They just need to be printed out and laminated if desired. The addition fact cards and number cards do need to be cut apart.

This is a Busy Learning Uppercase and Lowercase Letters Activity Packet. This was designed and most beneficial for young learners including preschoolers, Kindergarten, and 1st grade students. Although uppercase and lowercase letters is a skill that should be mastered upon entering kindergarten, many students still need additional practice and support. This packet will provide just that! There are 7 pages included for you to print. Pages 1-3 consist of the uppercase letters of the alphabet. Pages 4 and 5 consist of the lowercase letters of the alphabet. These pages will be cut out. Students will use the lowercase cut-out letters and match them to the correct uppercase letters. This is a great literacy center activity as well as an effective small group activity with the teacher. Doing this activity during small group will be a great way for you, as the teacher, to assess student mastery. In doing so, you will be able to ensure you can provide the necessary follow-up supports to students who need it. If you want to use this activity over and over again, you can laminate these pages after you print them off. You can apply Velcro dots to the letters. All you have to do is store the cut-out lowercase letters into a storage baggy, so students can keep up with them easily. Pages 6 and 7 have the alphabet printed with a tracing font. Students will practice tracing the uppercase and lowercase letter. You can print this many times, so students can get as much practice as they can with a pencil. If you want to switch it up, you can laminate these pages and they will be able to practice with a dry erase marker.

The different pages in this flip book allow students to practice recognizing the letter, writing the letter, and identifying words that begin with the letter. What is Included: This flip book has a cover page for students to simply color. The seek and find page practices letter recognition by having students identify capital and lowercase forms of the letter. The find and color page practices letter recognition of the target letter from other letters of the alphabet. Students can use dot markers to mark the letters, they can color in the letter or use stickers to cover the letters. The cut and paste page allows students to work with scissor skills to cut out examples of the letter from either printed materials, like magazines or newspapers, or students can use the letters provided at the bottom of the page. The trace and write page allows students to practice tracing and writing the capital and lowercase forms of the letter. The beginnings sound page has students coloring the pictures that begin with the letter. The trace and draw page has students tracing a word that begins with the letter, then drawing a picture to represent that word. When to Use: Literacy Centers - This flip book can be placed in a literacy center for students to work on identifying the letter. Morning Work - This flip book is a perfect morning work activity. Doing one or two pages each morning, students can finish one flip book a week. Homework - These flip books can be sent home for parents to work with letter recognition with their children. Small Group Activity - Students who need extra help with identifying letters and sounds can work with the teacher in a small group setting.
