This activity allows students to discover the properties of midsegments of triangles. The activity is followed by two examples; one to be done as a class and the other is designed for the individual student. Each student or group will need 2-3 sheets of construction paper (any color). This packet is designed to offer a fun, engaging and educational way to increase letter recognition in different fonts during your autumn/fall unit . This packet requires a bit of prep. Simply print all the pages on cardstock. Laminate the main page (leaf bag). Cut and laminate the alphabet and letter cards. For this activity your students will place an alphabet card on the top right square of the main page. Then they will sort through the pile of letters and place the matching letter on the main page. Note, I usually do 3-4 different letters at a time.
