Instead of simply presenting one viewpoint, this resource encourages students to analyze the evidence and form their own conclusions. I developed this project with my son, who has Autism, in mind. He struggles with writing and organizing his thoughts on paper. Using sorting mat activities reduced frustration and made learning more engaging. To complete this sorting activity , students will look at a picture on a ghost to determine if the picture begins with the letter G or does not begin with the letter G, and then the students will place the bat on the correct haunted house mat.
