Teachers, they love doing these! I do these every Friday and the kids honestly can’t wait to do them. I always ask them when they are researching and writing (or typing), “Kids, does anyone have a fact that really surprised you or popped out at you?” My 5th graders are always so excited to tell me their facts about their mini-topic. They also love drawing and coloring their picture boxes. This is a wonderful Friday “chill time” activity to end the week. Some like to read theirs, too.
