Colorful bookmarks that are unique like these funky, hip, modern 70s style bookmarks are a great way to encourage reading, especially in your more creative students. Printing the bookmarks, cutting them, and folding them, if you choose to make them double-sided, are also great ways to practice fine motor skills. That’s exactly why I decided to redesign them with a fresh twist. These 18 cliparts—9 in portrait and 9 in landscape format—combine the clarity of the official hazard symbols with a visually striking glitter effect. The colors remain true to the original system (red border, black symbol), but the glitter gives them a unique and eye-catching feel. I created each of these cliparts by hand in Procreate, with the classroom in mind. They’re still clearly recognizable as hazard pictograms, but they add a touch of design that fits beautifully into worksheets, posters, or digital resources. Communication Vocabulary Flashcards For Preschool, Montessori, and Kindergarten Bulletin Boards I created these communication vocabulary flashcards to help young children express their needs, feelings, and ideas in a simple and visual way. They work well especially for preschool, Montessori, and kindergarten classrooms, but they’re also helpful at home. All the picture cards inside are easy to understand and designed for children who are still developing speech, have limited language, or need extra support communicating. You can use them on bulletin boards, communication boards, and during small-group activities to encourage everyday real-life communication.
