In this collaborative poster, the class will come together to create a poster that stands for what each student believes in. The poster has a rainbow with balloons and stars and the quote that is spelled out is "In our class, we are kind and respectful." Each student will get to color a piece of this puzzle. There are 30 pieces. The poster will measure 23 inches height by 35 inches wide. This will be a fun activity for each student to contribute into one large poster. This poster can be posted in the classroom, on the bulletin board on on the door. This poster is great for first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades. In this file, you will receive 30 student pages with directions on each page, a full color picture of the outcome, a picture of the black and white version as well as the black and white version that is divided into 30 pieces. In the beginning of the school year, it is important to do activities that build community and shared values. When doing this poster, students can also talk about what else they believe to be important in the classroom as a community. I work as a school counselor for K-8th grade. Beautiful 2” x 6” standard size bookmarks with 1970s colors and designs. Colorful bookmarks that are unique like these funky, hip, modern 70s style bookmarks are a great way to encourage reading, especially in your more creative students. Printing the bookmarks, cutting them, and folding them, if you choose to make them double-sided, are also great ways to practice fine motor skills. These bookmarks are truly unique and there are 20 different designs. These bookmarks can be printed and cut for one-sided or folded for double-sided versions. Printing them on cardstock will make them last longer. You can also decorate them further by punching a hole in the top and adding a matching ribbon or other ephemera. You can also laminate them for an even longer lasting product. Bookmarks make great gifts, especially for those who love to read and for those who are highly creative. These bookmarks can be used as a creative way to encourage student interaction and as part of a unique themed center for reading. Each card features the element’s symbol, atomic number, and name – providing a clear and accessible entry point into the world of chemistry. The cards are designed to be used flexibly. You can print them twice to play Matching Pairs (also known as Memory®), where students turn over cards and try to find identical pairs. This helps improve concentration and recall while reinforcing students’ familiarity with element symbols and atomic numbers. What’s included: 118 cards (PDF format) – one for each chemical element Each card includes: element symbol, name, and atomic number Use them as a memory game (print twice) or flashcards for review Black-and-white format allows for optional color coding (e.g. element groups or states of matter) In my classroom: I’ve used this resource with grades 7–10, both during our unit on the periodic table and as a review activity. Some groups like to sort the cards by group or period before playing. Others enjoy using them competitively, seeing who can name the most elements based on symbol alone. There’s also room for differentiation: stronger students can work without a periodic table for support, while others use it alongside. The black-and-white version is copy-friendly and works well if you want students to color-code elements (e.g. metals vs. non-metals). You can also adapt the game for faster learners by having them group elements or research additional properties. This is a low-prep activity you can use again and again – whether as a center activity, partner task, or quick review before a test.
