In this SEL Posters resource, you will receive 2 child and student friendly posters informing students how to calm down and regulate their emotions. This will help students learn many different ways to manage strong emotions. These are perfect for calm down corners, take a break areas, reset areas, etc. One of the posters is titled A to Z Coping Skills. Some of the strategies on this poster include; ask for help, take a breath, use a fidget tool, drink water, eat a snack, listen to music, journal, squeeze a stuffy, identify emotions, go on a nature walk, use origami, be kind to yourself, play a game, visualize a happy place, yoga, read, squeeze a stress ball, quiet time, take a break and many more. One is for the fixed mindset and the prompt is "Instead Of..." and the other column is for the growth mindset and the prompt is "Try Thinking..." For example; instead of "I'm not good at this." try thinking "What am I missing?" Another example is "This is too hard." and try thinking "This may take some time and effort."
