5 FREE SH Phonics Worksheets — For 5–6-Year-Olds and ESL/EFL Learners Teaching phonics effectively doesn't have to mean hours of preparation. These ready-to-use worksheets have been designed with busy parents and teachers in mind — clear, purposeful, and straightforward to pick up and use from the first session. This free sample pack contains five worksheets focusing on the CK spelling pattern. While the sound itself is introduced early in most phonics programmes, these worksheets are pitched at a higher level — they expect more of the pupil. Each worksheet has been carefully structured to build confidence and reinforce learning through focused reading and spelling practice, with some comprehension work included where appropriate. The clean, uncluttered layout keeps the emphasis on the sound and the task.
