Create Your Own Emoji! Create Your Own Emoji! is a captivating teaching aid specifically devised for tutors conducting projects linked to Art & Music. This readily downloadable PDF worksheet provides a clean slate for youngsters to put their inventiveness and visualization into action. Constructing an original emoji could be a thrilling task. Emojis have turned quite ordinary in our digital dialogues, expressing an array of emotions, ideas, or activities with about 3,000 pictograms currently being utilised worldwide. Nevertheless, this tally is steadily rising each year as the Unicode Consortium includes 50 to 100 new emojis chosen out of infinite submissions from all around the planet. An Opportunity for your Students This guidance sheet invites them to conceive and fashion their distinctive emojis - whether it's a 'dab' swayed by the prevailing culture or motivated by their favorite dessert. This educational prop assigns students with crafting and advocating various emojis they can invent. The ultimate objective? To handpick their best two designs that are neatly coloured and ready for demonstration. This activity stimulates critical thinking as students must not just spawn visually catchy emojis but also argue why these symbols should be incorporated into our universal digital vocabulary. Although this tool holds special relevance in Art & Music studies under the Fine Arts branch, its usage isn't tied down to any single grade. It could make an interesting task within any classroom ambience – be it a group activity nurturing teamwork or smaller group tasks where more personalized assistance can take place; or even as homework exercises where solitude stirs independent thoughtfulness. SP or PS? Letter Reversal Spelling and Reading Worksheets for dyslexia
Common Core, Special Education Needs (SEN), Special Resources, Phonics, Language Development, ELA, Spelling, Grade 1, 2, 3, Worksheets & Printables

SP or PS Confusion — Dyslexia Support Worksheets I made this resource for a dyslexic pupil who was flipping sp and ps in both reading and spelling — writing crips instead of crisp , waps instead of wasp . This pupil was not a new reader, but the flipping was persisting. This is a typical dyslexic confusion, and an easy one to overlook, because both are used. I could not find a suitable worksheet, so I made seven to do the job! How to use: The differentiated pack targets sp and ps endings systematically, starting with recognition and building towards independent writing. Work through the pages in order — each one prepares the child for the next. One page per session works better than tackling the pack in one sitting. Who is it for? Dyslexic learners at any grade and any child who reverses or confuses letter patterns. It works in one-to-one tuition, small intervention groups, or as a supported classroom activity. Sits neatly within a broader phonics or spelling programme. What's included — 5 worksheets, 6 pages: Page 1 + 2 — Read a short story featuring Frank and Jack, two workmen in a village. Underline every sp word. This is a low-pressure activity to reduce stress. There are 2 differentiated stories. Page 2 — Cut and sort word cards into two columns: sp or ps. Uses the plurals rule the child already knows — if s means more than one, it comes last. Page 3 — A second Frank and Jack story containing both sp and ps words. Underline and record the target words. There are 2 differentiated stories. Page 4 — Sentences with the final two letters missing. Sp or ps? Unambiguous sentences keep the focus on the spelling pattern, not the meaning. Page 5 — A picture prompt of Frank and Jack. Children write their own sentences using a provided word bank. Consolidates everything. Special features: Teacher's notes Word lists for SP and some common PS words PS word meanings provided All pages are set in Dyslexic Font with wide line spacing. Print on cream paper for best results. What is included? 1 PDF 11 pages
