In this resource, you will get 28 calm down strategy cards and 8 blank ones that are fully editable. This is a Google Slides presentation that you can download in PDF form if you wish. This is a great resource for a calm down corner in your classroom, in a counseling office, reset area, or to send home to parents who are working with their child on self-regulation. You simply print off on cardstock, laminate for durability and then cut them out. You can hole punch each card and use a binder ring to hold them all together. "The Pilgrims and the Mayflower Compact" - A History Play and Activity

This play is a fun and engaging way to introduce the importance of the Mayflower Compact. The play focuses on the Mayflower being off course, the unrest between the passengers, and the resulting decision to stay in the Cape Cod area and write a new agreement, the Mayflower Compact. The follow up activity works well with continuing the lesson by learning what the Mayflower Compact actually says. It is a great way to incorporate the use of a primary source document into the lesson. Students put the words of the pilgrims into language they understand. It is a neat activity that I have used over and over.
