Spring is Here! is a great resource for students to practice alphabetizing words, writing paragraphs, and even illustrating to welcome the spring season! This resource is divided into three activities: a. The first activity is for students to practice alphabetizing within the context of the flowers and spring. There are 14 words to be alphabetized and then to write the number of syllables in each word right next the word. b. The second activity if for students to write a paragraph about spring, using at least 4 words from the list on the first page. c. The third and last activity is for students to illustrate and color the paragraph with a drawing about spring. Students can present their original paragraphs in different ways: Oral presentation, posters, digital slides, brochures, etc. And they also can be required to turn in this resource! This resource Spring is Here! was designed for middle school students, however it can also be used for high schoolers. Students may work independently, in pairs, or in groups.
