Make the Number Printable
Math, Numbers, Kindergarten, Preschool, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets
We are always searching for engaging ways to teach our little learners new skills and review skills that they already know! This 2-page worksheet is certainly a hands-on way to practice a math skill with students. Students will Make the Number with this printable. The objective is for students to use counting cubes and think of ways to make each number on both pages. This is ideal for preschool and kindergarten students. The pages are organized with boxes big enough for students to lay out the counting cubes. If you do not have counting cubes, or you do not have enough to go around, you can use any small object as a counting manipulative. Dried beans, playdough balls, and counting bears are great alternatives. If you want to tap into other senses, you can give students dry cereal to count (and then enjoy as a snack). The numbers included are 5, 8, 6, 9, 10, 12, 18, 15, 19, and 20. You can easily print and laminate these pages, so they retain their durability for repeated use. This will make a great math center or small group activity. If you want to use this printable as an informal assessment or data collection, you can simply have students use their pencil to draw circles or sticks to represent each number. I hope you enjoy!
