What is Included: There is 1 flower template for reading AGE family words There is 1 flower template for identifying and matching AGE words and pictures. This resource contains two CVCe words flower template. When finished, each flower will have 6 different petals with words and pictures. They can be used to introduce or review CVCe words, especially words with the AGE spelling. With easy to identify images, students will not have difficulty knowing which picture matches which word. There are two ways to use this product: One way to use this resource is to simply print, and allow students to color, cut out and glue the flower onto colored paper. Another way to use this resource is to print the flower onto colored card stock paper. The teacher then can cut and laminate the pieces. The flower can make a great matching activity for a literacy center, or be combined with other word flowers to sort. Ways to Use: Independent Work - Students can complete books on their own. In this product, you will get 3 template ">cube templates ; a feelings cube, an animals cube, and a blank cube. Students will have fun putting these cubes together with glue or tape (I recommend cardstock for durability). Students roll the feelings and animals cube (without their class members seeing them), then first act out the animal, then just the feeling, then that animal having that feeling. (Or however you want to structure the charades.) Students cut, color and glue or tape sides of cubes together. Younger students will need assistance with putting the cubes together.
