This resource contains two CVCe words flower template. When finished, each flower will have 6 different petals with words and pictures. They can be used to introduce or review CVCe words, especially words with the AGE spelling. With easy to identify images, students will not have difficulty knowing which picture matches which word.
There are two ways to use this product:
One way to use this resource is to simply print, and allow students to color, cut out and glue the flower onto colored paper.
Another way to use this resource is to print the flower onto colored card stock paper. The teacher then can cut and laminate the pieces. The flower can make a great matching activity for a literacy center, or be combined with other word flowers to sort.

Small Group Activity - The teacher can target students who need more practice with word families in a small group setting.
