In addition, there is a full page of 4 extra-large black and white bookmarks telling the Nativity story, for younger children to color and cut up. The 4 bookmarks each have a portion of the Biblical Nativity story so can also be used for sequencing of events activities. Included in this Super bundle of Christmas cards and bookmarks: 29 total 5 x 7 Christmas cards 27 of the cards are in full color 2 of the cards are black and white color your own 1 BONUS 5 x 7 Envelope template - all the 5 x 7 cards in the kit will fit perfectly into the template. You can pick your own color paper/cardstock to create your envelope to match the card color and style. BONUS bookmarks that are full color - you can create the bookmarks to be 4 double-sided or 8 single sided bookmarks. 4 additional bookmarks which are larger than regular 2" x 6" size, to be colored in as noted above. BONUS Gift Tags/Mini Cards - in addition, these gift tags have full color, adorable animals to decorate. They fold like a mini-book, so children can choose to use as a tag or as a mini-card. Sunflowers – Factual Interview Text, Glossary & Student Profile
STEM, Science, Life Sciences, Thanksgiving, Holidays, Holiday & Seasonal, Summer, Seasons, Biology, Nature & Plants, Grade 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Activities, Worksheets & Printables, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Worksheets, Projects, Presentations, Templates, Centers, Classroom Decor
Sunflowers – Factual Interview Text, Glossary & Student Profile A differentiated reading activity on Helianthus annuus for grades 3–7 🌻📚 This resource offers a creative and low-prep way to introduce your students to one of the best-known summer flowers: the sunflower (Helianthus annuus). Using an age-appropriate factual text in the form of an interview, this lesson invites students to learn more about the plant’s features, growth, and significance – all while practicing reading comprehension and working independently. The main text is written as an interview with a sunflower, which makes the content more relatable and engaging for younger learners. It’s differentiated into two versions (standard and simplified) to support mixed-ability groups. A glossary is included for both versions to support vocabulary development and help students access the content on their own. What’s included: Factual text in interview form (2 levels of difficulty) Glossary for each version of the text Printable student profile to be completed after reading Photo of a sunflower (self-taken, for classroom use) Answer key for the profile Optional extension task for early finishers All materials in both full-color and black-and-white versions Format: PDF Classroom ideas: Start the lesson with the sunflower photo as a silent impulse or discussion starter. Use guiding questions like: “Do you know this flower?” or “What can you tell about it?” From there, you can assign the text to pairs or small groups – or have it performed by two students, one acting as the sunflower, the other as the reporter. It’s a simple way to add some movement and creativity to factual reading. The profile helps students consolidate what they’ve read, and the glossary encourages independent clarification of unknown words. For quick finishers, there's a short research task on the healing properties of sunflowers, offering a meaningful extension. This material works well as part of a science or language arts lesson and is also easy to use in a substitute lesson. No extra prep required – just print and start. 📍 Best wishes, Heike from @Lernfitness Did You Know? Patchwork Hearts – Clipart Set for Creative Teaching Materials & Crafts 10 hand-drawn heart cliparts in color and black & white – for worksheets, posters, crafts & more ❤️🧵 PNG These heart cliparts are a little personal favorite of mine – I love combining patchwork textures with simple shapes, and this set is the result of that mix. Whether you’re preparing materials for Valentine’s Day, a Mother’s Day project, or just want to add a little warmth and color to your worksheets, these hearts are a lovely and flexible addition to your teaching toolbox. What’s included: 10 cliparts in PNG format (transparent background) – 5 colorful patchwork-style hearts – 5 black & white / outline versions for coloring or copying Hand-drawn in Procreate High-resolution files, ready to use in print or digital formats How I use them in the classroom: These cliparts are perfect for worksheets , reward charts , bulletin boards , or craft templates . I often print out the black-and-white versions so students can color them in as part of an art activity. They also work well in writing prompts – for example: “Who do you want to give this heart to?” or “Write a message for someone important to you.” The outline versions are easy to cut out and can be used for window decorations, garlands, or even small keepsakes students take home. The colorful versions are great when I need to quickly add something cheerful to a PowerPoint, digital notebook, or classroom display. And because the style is decorative but not too theme-specific, they’re not just for holidays – I also use them in my social-emotional learning corner or on kindness-themed posters. Usage rights: ✔ For personal and classroom use ✔ Commercial use allowed in educational resources (as long as your own content is clearly the focus) ✘ Please don’t resell or share the individual files as standalone cliparts These hearts are versatile, easy to use, and bring a handmade look to your materials – whether printed or digital. Enjoy creating with them! – Heike from @Lernfitness Best, Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know? Halloween Clipart – 5 PNG Illustrations (Pumpkin, Witch Hat, Skull, Bat & More) Small seasonal set for worksheets, decorations, and classroom use – includes commercial rights 🎃🦇 This Halloween clipart set contains five themed illustrations – simple, clear, and ready to use in the classroom. The images include a pumpkin, a witch hat, a bat, a skull, and one additional Halloween icon. All five cliparts are saved as high-resolution PNGs with transparent backgrounds, making them easy to insert into any project, whether digital or print. Sometimes you don’t need a huge set – just a few solid, recognizable images to bring a seasonal touch to your lesson materials. That’s exactly what this mini set was made for. High School The History of Mother's Day Reading Passage Bundle
ELA, Reading, Reading Comprehension, Holiday & Seasonal, Holidays, Mother's Day, Resources for Teachers, Social Studies, Research, High School, Homeschool Resources, Worksheets & Printables, Literacy Readers, Teacher Tools, Assessments, Templates, Quizzes and Tests
I developed this High School The History of Mother’s Day Reading Passage unit specifically to move beyond the surface-level crafts and card-making usually associated with the holiday in younger grades. My goal was to create a resource that challenges secondary students to analyze history through a critical lens while remaining completely prepared for busy homeschool parents. This High School The History of Mother’s Day Reading Passage unit explores the complex, and sometimes heartbreaking, history of how a day of peace and social activism became a commercial giant. It is designed to be comprehensive enough for a high school history or ELA credit while remaining engaging enough to spark a real, deep-level dinner table discussion. INCLUDED IN THIS RESOURCE: A detailed reading passage: tracks the holiday from ancient rituals to modern controversies. 20 detailed questions: requiring critical thinking to answer in paragraph-length responses. 10 note-taking sheets: designed to help teens organize their thoughts. A full key with model answers: to save you time on grading and research. TOPICS COVERED: How Greek and Roman mother-goddess traditions influenced early culture. The shift from 17th-century religious pilgrimages to secular family reunions. The inspiring history of Ann and Anna Jarvis’s social activism and peace work. Why the holiday's founder eventually tried to have her own creation abolished. I designed this High School History of Mother’s Day Reading Passage to take the entire weight of planning and research off your shoulders, so you can focus on the connection rather than the prep. While it is truly "open-and-go" for you, it ensures your student/homeschooler is doing the intellectual heavy lifting—whether you are using it for a history block, a social studies elective, or an ELA supplement. Thank you for letting me be a small part of your homeschooling journey and for trusting me to help you make high school history feel truly alive. If you and your students/homeschoolers enjoyed this resource, please let a review. Thank you for your support! Tina - Big Easy Homeschooling Mom

Honestly, as a homeschool mom, teaching a 9th grader is no joke—I spent forever looking for something that would not make my teen roll their eyes before we even started. I was tired of those "babyish" holiday worksheets, so I built this unit to actually dig into the grit behind Father's Day . It is not just about ties and grilling; it is a full-on look at the 60-year fight to get this day recognized, ending with Nixon’s 1972 law. INCLUDED IN THIS RESOURCE: Covers everything from the first 1909 idea to the official 1972 law. 20 deep-thinking prompts that won't feel like "busy work." Full answer keys are included for easy grading/assessment. 10 note-taking sheets to keep their thoughts organized. TOPICS COVERED: How one daughter spent 60 years fighting for her dad's legacy. The actual political battle to get a law passed. Cool ways families celebrate in Germany, Mexico, and Thailand. How the holiday turned into a billion-dollar business. I really hope this saves you some prep time and gives your high schooler the kind of academic challenge they’re actually ready for. If you run into a snag or just want to chat about homeschooling high school, definitely reach out. Happy teaching! If you and your students/homeschoolers enjoyed this resource, please leave a review. Learning Numbers with Vikings – Creative Pennant Banner - Bunting
Holiday & Seasonal, Math, Early Math, Counting, Numbers, Montessori, Special Education Needs (SEN), Special Resources, History, Social Studies, Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, 3, Activities, Worksheets & Printables, Teacher Tools, Projects, Templates, Classroom Decor, Door Decor, Posters, Bulletin Boards, Banners
Learning Numbers with Vikings – Creative Pennant Chain Creative Pennant Banner - Bunting A playful number line for early math skills with a Viking theme ⚔️🔢 This printable number pennant chain helps students in early grades (K–2 or 1–3) practice counting from 0 to 20 – all within a fun and imaginative Viking setting. Each pennant features a number, a matching number of Viking-themed illustrations, and a rustic wood-frame design that gives the entire chain a cohesive and storybook-like look. What makes this material stand out is the thoughtful visual support: for every number, students see a set of hand-drawn Viking clipart items (e.g., shields, helmets, swords), clearly corresponding to the number shown. This helps learners make the connection between numerals and quantity – an essential early math skill. What’s included: Numbers 0–20 as printable pennants (PDF) Each number illustrated with a matching number of Viking-themed images Two versions: full-color and black-and-white for coloring activities Wooden-look frames and connectors to complete the Viking design Tips for classroom use included Ideas for classroom use: You can hang the pennant chain across the classroom as a number line or let students help assemble it during a math lesson. The black-and-white version works well for individual coloring tasks, giving students ownership over their learning space. Some teachers use it in math centers, others during Viking-themed project weeks. The visual repetition supports number sense and makes abstract numbers feel more concrete. I’ve found that students who usually struggle with counting feel more confident when they can match numbers to something they can see and count. The resource is easy to print and use, and no extra materials are needed beyond scissors and string. Laminating the pennants will help them last across multiple school years. This is more than just a decoration – it’s a tool for early math learning wrapped in a bit of adventure. 📍 Best wishes, Heike from @Lernfitness Did You Know? Decorative Writing Sheets for Primary Students Printable ruled pages with child-friendly designs – for writing, practicing, and learning across subjects ✏️🌈 PNG + PDF These decorative worksheets were created especially for use in primary classrooms. Each sheet includes child-friendly rulings that support early writing skills and help students structure their ideas more clearly. What makes these pages extra special is their soft, coordinated design: the line colors match the surrounding illustrations, creating a calm and motivating look that many children really enjoy. Whether you're working on writing short stories, practicing letters, solving simple math problems, or even introducing music notation – these pages give students a visually appealing and structured space to work in. What’s included: A variety of printable worksheets with age-appropriate writing lines Gentle, decorative themes suited for younger learners Coordinated line colors for a neat and balanced appearance PDF format – ideal for printouts or digital notebooks (GoodNotes, Notability) PNG Format Classroom ideas: I’ve used these pages for journal entries, creative writing, dictations, and short-answer tasks. They’re also great as a “special” writing page for final versions of a story or when students present their work to the class. Many of my students take more care with their handwriting when they’re given a well-designed page to work on – a little aesthetic motivation goes a long way. Because the designs are subtle and not theme-locked, you can use them all year long. Some children even enjoy choosing their favorite version before starting a task – which can be a nice moment of autonomy in a structured lesson. These sheets are simple, flexible, and designed with classroom reality in mind – especially for younger learners who benefit from clear structure and a bit of visual encouragement. If you are anything like me, as a homeschool mom, you want your high schooler to start the new year feeling confident, organized, and inspired. That is exactly why I created this 2026 New Year’s Goals Coloring and Doodle Book . It is not just another checklist or planner—they will actually want to use it! My own teen daughter loves the way it combines simple, S.M.A.R.T. goal setting with fun, creative doodling and reflection. It covers all the important areas of their lives, both personal and academic, so nothing gets left out. Honestly, I wish I would have had something like this when I was their age! If you are looking for a resource that will help your student/homeschoolers take real ownership of their year (and enjoy the process!), this is the one I’d recommend from one homeschool mom to another. INCLUDED IN THIS RESOURCE 70+ unique goal planning and doodle pages are included. Cover 5 areas: School, Spiritual, Personal, Family, and Health. A clear, guided explanation of the S.M.A.R.T. goal-setting steps. Structured pages for creating goal timelines, action plans, and obstacle strategies. TOPICS COVERED Using the S.M.A.R.T. framework for effective planning. Personal development and self-reflection. Long-term time management through goal timelines and milestones. Executive function skills like resource identification and delegation. Honestly, I know exactly what that post-holiday slump feels like—trying to get our teens back into 'school mode' without the immediate eye-rolls—which is why I am so excited about this 2026 New Year’s Goals Coloring and Doodle Book . It is not just another dry planner or a boring checklist that’s going to end up buried under a pile of laundry; it is actually something my high schooler wants to open because it hits that sweet spot of structured S.M.A.R.T. goal planning for their transcripts and life skills, but wrapped in doodles and creative prompts that let them breathe and think. It looks at their whole life—not just their math grade, but their personal growth and big dreams, too—so if you are tired of the 'back-to-school' struggle in January, grab this to help them finally take ownership and start 2026 feeling focused and actually inspired!
