Total number of cards: 8 different designs (all with cream backgrounds) Black and Grey Cat with Pink and Red Mug - Saying: "Happy Valentine's Day to a Cool Cat" Black and Grey Cat with Red Bow in Hair with Mug - Saying: "Happy Valentine's Day to a Kool Kitten? Boy and Girl holding balloons and candy - Saying "Lots of Love for Valentine's Day XOXO Framed Design in pink and dark red/burgundy - Saying "Lots of Love for Valentine's Day" Framed Red Heart with Pink Bow - Saying "With Love on Valentine's Day" Pink and Purple Card - Saying "Happy Valentine's Day LOVE - Know that I love you to the moon and back." Card with Candy Hearts - Purple, Blue/Green, Red - Saying "I Love You" - Heart sayings include "Be Mine," "True Love," "Charm Me," "Kiss Me." Card with pink and purple hearts - Saying "Today is a celebration of all love - Happy Valentine's Day." You can have students work on them for a special project. Print the cards with the envelope template for each card (print 8 copies of the envelope template), have students choose their favorite, cut the card and the envelope template, fold them, and personalize them to give to a friend or loved one. Students will Practice hands-on craft skills (cutting, folding, pasting, problem solving with the challenge of properly creating an envelope from the template). Practice handwriting and spelling, proper grammar (including use of capitalization for proper nouns, at the beginning of sentence, proper use of commas and periods). Practice proper addressing of an envelope in preparation of sending in the mail, which is an important life skill. Greeting cards are not age specific. If the student can't read or write, they can draw pictures inside their card and get help from peers and teachers.

Sunflowers – Factual Interview Text, Glossary & Student Profile A differentiated reading activity on Helianthus annuus for grades 3–7 🌻📚 This resource offers a creative and low-prep way to introduce your students to one of the best-known summer flowers: the sunflower (Helianthus annuus). Using an age-appropriate factual text in the form of an interview, this lesson invites students to learn more about the plant’s features, growth, and significance – all while practicing reading comprehension and working independently. The main text is written as an interview with a sunflower, which makes the content more relatable and engaging for younger learners. It’s differentiated into two versions (standard and simplified) to support mixed-ability groups. A glossary is included for both versions to support vocabulary development and help students access the content on their own. What’s included: Factual text in interview form (2 levels of difficulty) Glossary for each version of the text Printable student profile to be completed after reading Photo of a sunflower (self-taken, for classroom use) Answer key for the profile Optional extension task for early finishers All materials in both full-color and black-and-white versions Format: PDF Classroom ideas: Start the lesson with the sunflower photo as a silent impulse or discussion starter. As a Registered Dietitian, this is why I chose to create this Black History Month project to recognize the Black Americans who have contributed to the food and nutrition industry. 12 Pioneers in Food Science and Technology are included in this Black History Month project. The activities pack is stuffed with fun activities. There are activities for all learning styles. I created this winter-themed hat crown craft for young students who enjoy coloring, cutting, and assembling simple seasonal projects. Each page features a clear winter illustration—such as mountains, cozy treats, snowflakes, or cute winter characters—that children can personalize with their own colors and designs. The outlines are bold and simple, making it easy for students to work independently and stay focused. This type of craft works especially well during the winter months when classes need an engaging, hands-on activity that also feels calm and relaxing. It can be used during morning work, as an art center, for fast finishers, or as a fun seasonal project to celebrate winter. I’ve used similar crown crafts before, and students always feel proud when they finish decorating and get to wear their creations around the classroom. The pack is easy to print and works perfectly in black-and-white since students add all the color themselves. It fits smoothly into classroom routines or can be enjoyed at home as a simple winter craft. I love to make printable greeting cards and bookmarks. Not only are they fun for kids to do but can be used to practice and build useful and important skills. For example, these cute Valentines Day cards with matching envelope template (5 x 7 finished size): Require students to cut out the cards and envelope template in order to create a finished card with a matching envelope. Cutting with scissors builds fine motor skills. When students fold the cards correctly as well as paste the envelope template correctly, they are developing (especially with the envelope template) problem solving skills in addition to the fine motor skills practice. Deciding who to give the card, writing out a greeting to the chosen person, and addressing the envelope will not only build social skills, but life skills that will always be needed throughout adulthood. Properly addressing the card and outside envelope will require proper capitalization and grammar and will develop handwriting skills as well. Students can work on their cards as a group. Teachers can create a special center for this project. Cards are blank on the inside so that students can decide what they want to say. They can also draw pictures if they are not reading or writing letters yet. The cards are not age specific. They can be created with pre-readers all the way up to adulthood. There are six (6) different foldable, 5 x 7-inch cards with the following sayings: All you need is Jesus Jesus loves you Be my valentine I love you Two of the cards contain a picture without a saying. One envelope template is included, which can be used with any 5 x 7 card besides the cards in the Valentines Day card pack. pdf downloadable file, each card is on a separate sheet of paper. Also included is a coloring sheet with a colored sheet students can use to match the colors or color their own way using their own chosen color scheme.

Homeschooling high school is a whole different ball game. As a mom currently navigating 9th grade with my own daughter, I know the struggle: finding resources that are not 'childish' but also don't read like a dry college dissertation is tough.
