I created these blobs-style backgrounds to add a friendly and creative touch to the resources I use with my students – and I now use them regularly across many different formats. Each background is designed in A4 format and comes in three file types (PNG, JPG, TIFF), so you can use them easily in PowerPoint, Canva, Word, or on your digital whiteboard. I made the blobs myself using Procreate, and they’ve quickly become a go-to design element for my materials – from flashcards to worksheet covers to game boards. Biology Binder Covers – Templates for Classroom Use Organize your biology handouts, notes, and units with visual clarity Simple and flexible templates to help organize your biology materials In my biology classes, it can be a challenge to keep things organized - especially when it comes to multiple units, lab notes, worksheets and review materials. To make it easier for my students and myself, I designed these simple binder sleeves. There are 12 different pages. The covers have a clean, colorful blob layout that is friendly but not distracting. I usually print them out and use them as cover sheets or as dividers in folders for students or teachers. They also work well for digital learning environments, e.g. as section covers in PDF files or on classroom platforms. I like that the color scheme allows students to quickly find what they are looking for, and it brings a little more structure to a subject that is often riddled with formulas and technical terms. When used as cover sheets, students can choose their favorite color for their cover sheet. This resource is handy - and has saved me a lot of time in lesson preparation and follow-up. Daily Calendar Routine: High and Low Temperature Measurement K 1st 2nd

Here’s a quick way to include real-world math , finding the difference (subtraction), and number lines in your daily calendar routine each morning in kindergarten, 1st grade, or 2nd grade! Have your students record the day's high and the day's low temperature in your city on this large thermometer. Then you can find the difference : which is the daily temperature range! INCLUDES METRIC (℃) & IMPERIAL (℉) How to Use this Calendar Routine: • Note: This product is created to be printed on large 11x17 paper! • Print a large thermometer (with your preferred units C or F) in colour. • Laminate the thermometer. • Then hang it up as part of your morning calendar routine. • Each day, you will look up the day's high and the day's low temperature in your city. • With your students, record the date, the high temperature, and the low temperature on the laminated chart using a whiteboard marker. • Have one or two students come up to circle the high & low temperature on the thermometer. • Then students can help you calculate the difference between these two temperatures to determine the daily temperature range. Many strategies can be used: Counting the dashes in between the two numbers Using mental math or known benchmarks (make a 10) Using the standard subtraction algorithm How to Use This as a Worksheet: • You could also print a thermometer on legal-sized paper to use as a worksheet for your students to complete. This allows assessment of their knowledge of number lines measurement finding the difference integers (if using Celsius in the winter) Grades to Use With: This daily calendar routine is created for students in kindergarten, 1st grade, or 2nd grade. It could also be used in older elementary grades when introducing integers (if you use Celsius in the winter months). Finally, it could be used in life skills classes where appropriate. This Recycling Sort – Earth Day Science Activity includes printable sorting worksheets designed for young learners in preschool, kindergarten, and early elementary grades. Are you thinking of starting your own tutoring business or getting some tutoring students in elementary school or high school to supplement your teaching income? Here are ready-to-go, editable tutoring templates that you can use to plan your sessions, record what you accomplish, and report back to your students’ parents. This will give your business a professional look while saving you time: the templates have all the information you need and nothing you don’t! How to Use: a) Tutoring Plan: Create a tutoring plan for each student. This can be done when a student starts working with you and should last for at least 3-6 months. This one-page sheet highlights the student’s strengths and the skills they need to work on. It has room for you to plan routines (warm-up and rewards) and three key areas that you will work on with the student- including the resources you will use. You can gather information from the parents, the student’s teacher, and report cards or previous assessments for developing this plan. You can share the completed plan with the parents (and the student if it is age-appropriate). You can print a copy or type into the slide. Check out a completed sample to see how to use this page. b) Tutoring Sessions: Print a tutoring sessions sheet for each of your students. One sheet will last ten sessions. You can record the date and time of the session and all the activities you complete along with the resources you use. This will make prepping for the next session much easier- using your tutoring plan and this record sheet will allow you to always know what comes next. You can also record your payments here. What activities would you prep for Gabriel’s third session? c) Tutoring Reports: Write a simple, one-paragraph report each term you tutor (every 3-4 months). You can describe work habits, skills you have worked on, and areas of growth you have noticed. Share with the parents. These three templates will ensure you are prepared and professional as you embark on your tutoring journey!
