Biology Binder Covers – Templates for Classroom Use Organize your biology handouts, notes, and units with visual clarity Simple and flexible templates to help organize your biology materials In my biology classes, it can be a challenge to keep things organized - especially when it comes to multiple units, lab notes, worksheets and review materials. To make it easier for my students and myself, I designed these simple binder sleeves. There are 12 different pages. The covers have a clean, colorful blob layout that is friendly but not distracting. I usually print them out and use them as cover sheets or as dividers in folders for students or teachers. They also work well for digital learning environments, e.g. as section covers in PDF files or on classroom platforms. I like that the color scheme allows students to quickly find what they are looking for, and it brings a little more structure to a subject that is often riddled with formulas and technical terms. When used as cover sheets, students can choose their favorite color for their cover sheet. This resource is handy - and has saved me a lot of time in lesson preparation and follow-up. What’s included: 12 biology-themed cover pages different colors zu choose as a cover sheet as a divider between the individual biology topics I've printed these on colored paper for my own binder and also used them digitally in student notebooks. Works well for both teacher organization and student-facing materials. 📍 Best wishes, Heike from Lernfitness Biology teacher (Chemistry teacher, Math teacher) in Germany Did You Know? Water Cycle Earth Science Activity
Earth and Environmental Sciences, Science, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Grade 2, 3, 4, Experiments, Activities, Diagrams, Teacher Tools, Lesson Plans, Templates
I created this water cycle science activity for young students who are beginning to learn how water moves through Earth’s systems. Each page focuses on a simple part of the water cycle, including evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection. The worksheets include clear diagrams, short explanations, and guided activities so students can understand the concept without feeling overwhelmed. This type of activity works well during science lessons, especially when students are being introduced to Earth science topics. It can be used as a whole-class activity, a science center, morning work, or extra practice after a lesson. I’ve used similar worksheets before, and students enjoy labeling diagrams and following the steps of the water cycle from start to finish. The pack is easy to print and works well in both color and black-and-white. It fits nicely into classroom routines and can also be used at home for review or reinforcement. What’s included: 11 printable water cycle worksheets Clear and simple water cycle diagrams Activities covering evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection Kid-friendly science illustrations Suitable for grades 1–3 Great for individual, partner, or small-group work

Are you ready to breathe new life into your science lessons? T hese Weekly Science Syllabus Doodle Notes were born out of my own frustration as a homeschool mom trying to juggle curriculum planning while keeping my kids actually interested in science. Trust me, I have spent countless late nights staring at bland planning sheets thinking, "There has to be a better way!" After one too many uninspiring science lessons, I created these templates that have completely transformed how we approach science in our homeschool. These are not just another pretty printable—they are the answer to that moment when you realize your kiddo has retained exactly zero information from last week's lesson on photosynthesis! I have designed them to be your visual playground, where mapping out experiments and research activities becomes something you and your students/homeschoolers actually look forward to. My own teenage daughter went from groaning about science to pointing at their doodle notes saying, "Remember when we did that cool experiment?" The secret sauce? These notes engage both the logical and creative sides of your brain, which means those scientific concepts finally stick—no more blank stares when you ask, "Remember what we learned last Tuesday?" These have been a game-changer in our homeschool, and I can't wait for them to transform yours too! INCLUDED IN THIS RESOURCE: ✔Comprehensive weekly science planning template with visually engaging design ✔Designated spaces for scientific learning objectives, content focus, and instructor information ✔Daily sections for documenting science classwork, lab activities, quizzes, and attendance ✔Specialized reading assignment sections for scientific texts and research articles ✔Homework planning areas with website research recommendations and writing prompts ✔Visual note-taking spaces that connect scientific concepts with creative representation ✔Structured organization that accommodates the unique needs of science instruction Sunday nights used to be my nightmare—frantically scrambling to plan science lessons while dreading the glazed-over looks I would get from my teenager the next day. Sound familiar? Those days are OVER! With these Weekly Science Syllabus Doodle Notes , I have actually caught myself looking forward to planning time (weird, right?). Let me tell you, juggling high school science with a creative teen who'd rather be doing anything else pushed me to my breaking point. My kitchen table was buried under boring worksheets that neither of us was excited about. That is when I decided to create these templates—not because I am some super-organized homeschool mom (ha!), but because I desperately needed something that would work for both my planning sanity AND my visually-oriented teenager. The magic happens when organization meets creativity! Now my daughter can actually see what is coming each week, and those complex scientific concepts finally stick because the visual elements speak her language. I still cannot believe how much easier our science days flow now! Seriously, grab these today—your future bleary-eyed, lesson-planning self will high-five you when you realize science class has transformed from a battle to the highlight of your homeschool week! Math Student Self Assessment for Any Math Chapter Grades 5-8
Math, Grade 5, 6, 7, 8, Assessments, Teacher Tools, Templates, Worksheets & Printables
Do you want to teach your grade 5-8 middle school math students how to self assess their own mathematical understanding to help them prepare and study more effectively for upcoming math assessments? Here is the perfect template for you! This Grade 5-8 Math: Student Self-Assessment Tool works with ANY math unit or chapter in the intermediate grades and can be used over and over again all year to help your students practice the vital art of self assessment. How to Use: 1. Start this routine at the beginning of the year, near the end of your first math unit! 2. Go through the sample template with your students so they understand each part of it. 3. Then have your students fill in the template for their own learning in the current math unit to prepare for the upcoming test. 4. They start by filling in the unit name & chapter number. 5. You can provide the learning skills or outcomes that you have covered in the math unit, or you can ask your students to help figure them out. 6 Students then rate their knowledge from 1-5 on each skill or learning outcome. Remind students it is normal that they may be very good at some skills while needing more practice on others. 7. Next, students must come up with a simple personal plan to help practice a skill that needs more review. This will help them to take ownership of their own studying and preparation. 8. Finally, students will fill out 3 concepts or ideas that they have learned during the unit. 9. These self-assessments will make a great learning artifact for conferences and to send home with students at the end of the year to show their learning in math! What's Included: 3 Page PDF - Teacher Instructions - Student Self Assessment Template - Completed Sample Student Self Assessment

60 Blob-Style Clipart Backgrounds – For Teaching Materials, Posters, and Digital Resources Hand-drawn blobs to add color and personality to your classroom designs 🎨 PNG If you're creating your own worksheets, presentations, or classroom posters, it’s nice to have design elements that make your materials feel more individual and inviting—without distracting from the content. That’s why I created these 60 background cliparts in a fun, blob-inspired style. Each element is hand-drawn using Procreate and saved as a high-quality PNG file , so they’re easy to insert into PowerPoint, Canva, Word, Google Slides, or any digital notebook like GoodNotes. You can use them for headers, cover pages, memory cards, game materials, or just to decorate your resources in a way that feels personal and clear. What’s included (all in PNG format): 12 circular blob backgrounds 12 oval backgrounds 12 wavy washi-tape blobs 12 transparent organic blobs 12 striped transparent overlays That makes 60 colorful, flexible clipart pieces you can mix and match across your projects. Ideas for use: I’ve used these blobs to decorate task cards, brighten up classroom rules, create printable posters, or make front and back covers for student folders. They also work really well for memory games or station cards. Because they’re not too detailed, they’re ideal as visual anchors without drawing attention away from your content. Usage: ✔ Personal use ✔ Commercial use allowed within the educational space – for example, in your own worksheets or printables ✘ No resale or sharing of the raw PNG files These backgrounds are meant to give your materials a light, creative touch – whether you teach young learners or older students. No fancy design software needed, just drag, drop, and go. Best, Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know? High School: A Student's/Homeschooler's Guide to Professional Email
ELA, Life Studies, Business, Research, Resources for Teachers, High School, Homeschool Resources, Adult Education, Worksheets & Printables, Teacher Tools, Writing Prompts, Templates
As a homeschool mom with a 9th grader of my own, I have realized pretty quickly just how high the stakes get as they hit high school. Suddenly, our kids are expected to reach out to co-op teachers, talk to college recruiters, or apply for that first part-time job—and they are expected to do it like professionals. I started calling it the "digital handshake" because, in many cases, that first email is the only impression people have of them. I created this guide because I wanted my own teen to have the confidence to hit "send" without second-guessing herself. This is not just another dry lesson on grammar; it is about giving our young adults a life skill that actually opens doors for them. INCLUDED IN THIS RESOURCE: Comprehensive student guide Printable Quick-Start Desk Cheat Sheet Parent/Mentor Review Guide & Commitment Page Technical How-To guides (e.g., Schedule Send) TOPICS COVERED: Crafting professional subject lines and signatures Templates for late work, follow-ups, and inquiries Email etiquette for sensitive topics and busy professionals Essential digital safety and mobile communication tips At the end of the day, The Digital Handshake is about more than just checking off a curriculum box; it is about watching our kids grow into independent, capable adults. We have all seen how easy it is for teens to stay stuck in "text-speak" mode, and my goal with this guide was to turn those hesitant texters into clear, confident communicators. Whether they are headed for college or straight into the workforce, I want our kids to be able to share their thoughts and needs with total professionalism. I truly hope this resource helps your student/homeschooler step into their future with their best foot forward. If you and your students/homeschoolers enjoyed this resource, please leave a review. In my house, finding ninth-grade resources that do not feel childish is an uphill battle. If a worksheet looks like it is from 1994, my daughter is done before she even picks up a pencil. That is why I created the High School The Scholar's Quest Mad Lib Mini Unit. I wanted something that leaned into that dark academia, immersive vibe that teens actually like, while still hitting the academic rigor they need. We have used this on those slow, rainy Tuesdays to turn a boring ELA lesson into a deep dive into atmosphere—without the usual groaning. INCLUDED IN THIS RESOURCE: The Scholar's Quest: Multi-page immersive narrative experience. 100+ Tier 2 Word: Sophisticated academic vocabulary banks. 10 Brainstorming Sheets: Narrative architecture and planning tools. Advanced Grammar Guide: Gerunds and participle phrase toolkits. TOPICS COVERED: Literary Tone Analysis: Mastering mood through word choice. Narrative Synthesis: High-level academic word integration. Advanced Parts of Speech: Gerunds, transitive verbs, and more. Pre-Writing Skills: Character blueprints and setting design. This High School The Scholar'sQuest Mad Lib Mini Unit transforms a standard English lesson into an experiment. They are nott just students/homeschoolers here; they are alchemists in charge of the results. Whether you are homeschooling or in a classroom, this High School The Scholar'sQuest Mad Lib Mini Unit resource honors their maturity while keeping things fresh. Happy crafting!
