Learning letter sounds is one of the many necessary components. Another skill that we tackle is identifying and applying beginning letter sounds. That is the objective of this product. This is a Beginning Letter Sounds Worksheet packed with 2 pages of practice for students. From page to page, students will look at each animal image and determine what sound it begins with. Students will have 4 letters to choose from for each animal. They will circle the correct letter. There are 6 animals on each page. This worksheet is most appropriate for students being introduced to or reviewing beginning letter sounds: preschool – 1st grade students. You can implement this activity in a few ways: 1. Independent work 2. Early finishers 3. Small group 4. Literacy centers If you want them to use these over and over again, you can laminate each page and have students use dry erase markers.
