Children love these glittery dice and dominos Clip It and Flip It Cards. A Beginning Math Hands On Activity . Answers print on the back of each card for self-checking independent work. This makes a perfect addition to your math centers or an activity for early finishers. These Clip It and Flip It Cards can be placed in differentiated work baskets, used for morning activities, used with tutors, or as a great take home activity . Students look at the card, count or subtilize, and clip their answer with a clothes pin or other clip you provide. Then flip the card to check their answer, remove the clip and repeat with another card. The clip and flip activity also works fine motor skills and is great for the pincer grasp. Large cards, and answer choices along the bottom of cards for ease for left- and right-handed students. Straight line cutting makes it easier for you to prep. I place them in a 5 x 7 photo case or a clear pencil box with a couple of clothespins and use for center activities (2 students per center). A co-worker stores them in pencil bags and uses them for morning work for the students while she takes attendance and lunch count. Another teacher I know printed the front pages only, and used them in small group with clear counters, so she could see if they were counting or subtilizing and if they were correct. I created these for my Kindergarten Classroom ,and I used them with a few of my struggling second grade students as well as my older special needs students. 90 clip cards are included in this 51 page PDF. Print pages 6 - 51 on double-sided, short edge binding.
