Winter Olympics Themed Mixed Operations Math Task Cards are a set of task cards with addition and subtraction multiplication and division word problems revolving around the Winter Olympic games. There are 12 addition/subtraction problems and 12 multiplication/division problems. Some are single step, some are multi-step. There are large versions for a classroom hunt or display, small task-card size versions (with an answer sheet for scoots), and a link to digital Google Slides version for paper-less classroom or virtual classrooms. Use these as word problems to put up around your room and have students answer, or use the task cards in a scoot/small group or assign them digitally using the digital versions included. These can also be used in math centers , group times, or as formative assessments. It is recommended that you print the size you want (full-sized or task card sized) and laminate them for future use. To make them even sturdier, print them on card stock before laminating. This is a ready-to-use resource for students to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in an engaging manner as it covers a variety of Winter Olympic sports. An answer key is provided with this product. They are written based on the VA Math SOL 3.3 (addition and subtraction) and VA Math SOL 3.4 (multiplication and division) but work for any grade level doing mixed operation word problems.
