Physical Education Fitness Journey 4 Week Challenge
P.E. & Health, Physical Education, Not Grade Specific, Activities
This is a Physical Education Fitness Journey 4-Week Challenge that can be utilized at any time with any set of learners. Participants will be setting 1+ fitness goals for themselves that are attainable in their 50-minute physical education period.Goals can be cardio/aerobic, strength/resistance training, or flexibility/balance training. Depending on the exercises that students choose to focus on, they may have to set more or less goals. For example, if they choose a Cardio Goal such as jogging consecutively for 30 minutes at a time, without a break, that will take up the entire gym period. However, if they choose a Strength Goal such as 10 consecutive push-ups without a break, that may only take up 5-10 minutes of their gym period. This editable presentation will teach students about goal setting and give them slides to write down their goals. This Physical Education Fitness Journey is accompanied with journal pages for students to reflect on the goals they have set and how they feel they tackled that goal. I hope you enjoy! Cut & Glue: Spring
ELA, Reading, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, Activities
Cut & Glue: Spring is a reading activity for young learners focused on the season of spring. Students will cut out images related to springtime, such as flowers, baby animals, rain, and sunshine. They will then glue each image next to the corresponding word, allowing them to work on developing reading skills, expanding their vocabulary, and making text-to-image connections. This hands-on resource can be used individually or with partners, during morning work or center time, or even assigned as homework. The spring-themed images and content also present a fun way to build students' background knowledge ahead of spring-focused reading passages. With just some scissors, glue, and printer access, Cut & Glue: Spring engages primary students in purposeful literacy skill-building.

Stranger Danger – Social Story for Kids
Special Resources, Life Skills, Social Skills, Special Education Needs (SEN), Not Grade Specific, Activities
Teaching children about stranger safety is crucial, but can be a scary topic. This Stranger Danger Social Story takes the fear out of this important lesson by using a warm, straightforward approach. Designed for preschool and elementary age kids, this social story clearly defines "stranger" and explains why children should never go anywhere with someone they don't know. It covers strangers in different situations, like if approached on the street, in a store or playground. Kids learn that strangers can trick them with offers of candy, pets or fun activities. Importantly, this Stranger Danger story also teaches children what to do if a stranger tries to interact with them. It provides simple steps like saying "No!", running to a trusted adult, yelling for help and reporting it right away. The empowering message is: Your body is yours and no one can take you without permission. With its therapeutic tone and real-world advice, this social story removes anxiety and arms children with strategies. It is an indispensable tool for teachers, counselors, social workers and parents wanting to broach this sensitive safety issue. Using concrete examples and a reassuring voice, this Stranger Danger guide will build awareness, confidence and essential skills to help keep kids secure. These books should be used over and over to reinforce the point so I would suggest either putting the pages into a display book or laminating and binding them.
